I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the product I received from ACCUVISION. On January 22nd, 2025, I brought a frame and my glasses prescription to your office. I asked it you could use my prescription to enter lenses into my frame. I explained that I got the prescription from LensCrafters in ************, ** (***********). ************ told me it would take two weeks or longer for me to get glasses back. Unfortunately, my move back to *********** was scheduled prior to the time they gave me. Lenscrafters suggested I take the prescription with me and get the glasses near where I would be residing. I had gotten glasses from ACCUVISION before and decided to go to your office. You explained that I would have to sign a release of liability/waived for my frames. I picked up the glasses two weeks later. I tried the glasses; as you recommended. I brought the glasses back because I complained I had a hard time adjusting to them. You recommended I go back to the office where I got the prescription. I visited a Lenscrafters in Gurnee, they had my prescription on file. They examined the glasses and told me the measurements were not correct. I ****** the glasses back to ACUVISION with the information I received from Lenscrafters. You agreed to send the glasses back to your Labatory and have them remade. After two weeks I picked up the glasses from you again. I experience the same results; my eyes could not adjust to the glasses. I went back to an ophthalmologist (Dr ** *******, *************, **) to have my eyes retested and check the glasses I received from ACCUVISION. I was told the measurements were off. At 80 years old and on a fixed income, I was out of pocket $338.40 for the glasses I received from you, also my insurance company paid you $300.00. The ophthalmologist is remaking the glasses for a cost of over $600.00, which unfortunately I must pay. I am requesting the cost I incurred for the glasses that I was not able to wear.
