My mom had been telling me for a couple years to come here because she had heard good things about it. I thought it wasn't legitimate so I didn't want to go, but after a couple years of my health conditions worsening I was desperate so I took my mom's advice and I came here. With my initial consultation I felt a lot of hope. The Dr. ***** seemed to really listen to my list of concerns and validate how I was feeling. She explained their process and philosophy and it sounded great and it sounded real. It didn't seem to be made up, but actually based on science. I came back for testing which runs up to 1600 depending on what your insurance covers. I payed about 1100 for testing after insurance. At this point I still felt good about coming here. Results/Plan - This was where my experience went downhill pretty quickly. I came in and they had me step on a machine that broke down the muscle to **** ratio in my body. Then Dr. ***** came in and explained all my test results. ***** was a pretty thick packet. She spoke about which of my levels were in good standing and which weren't. Apparently one of the ones that weren't were my *** and ** levels. These levels can be indicators of fertility. She had the audacity to tell me I wasn't fertile!!!! I was heart broken at this point. She explained to me that I came at a good time because I wasn't trying to get pregnant for another year so I had time to fix my body before I was trying to get pregnant. Next, she explained that her associate would come in to inject me with a shot of vitamins, and explain the plan for how we would fix my body. This is where it started to really feel like a scam. The associate came in and gave me the shot. Then she brought out the paper work which detailed the costs of the program. She really tried to sell me on their "membership" which costs 7000-9000 dollars just for 6 months. That is crazy. None of that is covered under insurance. You have to pay it all out of pocket. I did not want to pay that much out of pocket for 6 months. When I was reluctant to agree to the membership. She told me that there was a pay as you go plan as well. They recommended vitamin shots 4 times a month, their shake mix all month, and also another powder that was meant for a detox of your body. She still pushed for the membership claiming that in the end its around the same price, you just get A *** LESS and pay in smaller increments instead of paying the lump sum and getting unlimited access to all their programs, dietitians, educational services, and weird treatments. Some supposedly could completely cure you of depression and anxiety. Some sculpted away ****. It all just sounded ridiculous and like a scam. They didn't seem to actually care about me or my health, just about making money. On top of all that it seems the same treatment is recommended for everybody. So then why in the world did I pay a 1,100 in testing fees if we all get the same treatment? When I wouldn't commit to anything they explained that they would give you a discount if you decided within the first few days or week or something. So I didn't even get the time to research their methods or anything because otherwise I would be losing out on a "great" deal. I told them I would not be agreeing to anything that day. They then explained that I could go to the register and pay for what they did today... Um? What the **** was that? I wasn't informed of any costs. Apparently to step on the scale that measures your muscle to **** ratio it costs $22- $26 and then the shot that I was told I was going to get cost $45. None of these prices was I told about before I took them. I left infuriated, sad, and just feeling hopeless. I looked into other negative reviews online and they sounded very similar. I didn't have the money to waste on their program without knowing if for 100% it was effective. So all in all I was left defeated. Fast forward to a month later when I took the results she gave me to a gynecologist/fertility specialist. Apparently there was no reason to think that I am not fertile. He gave me the blessing to go forth and have children without a worry in the world. This practice solely cares about making money. They do not care about their patients or their patients needs. It may feel that way at the beginning but they do not. It is a money making scam.
