    The BBB Code of Advertising States:

    1. Basic Principles of the Code

    20. Warranties or Guarantees

    20.1 When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser’s website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request.

    20.2 Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” “money back guarantee,” “free trial offer,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.

    20.3 When “satisfaction guarantee” or similar representations are used in advertising, any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.

    20.4 When advertising “lifetime” warranties or guarantees or similar representations, the advertisement must clearly and conspicuously disclose its intended meaning of the term “lifetime.”

    20.5 Sellers or manufacturers should advertise that a product or service is warranted or guaranteed only if the seller or manufacturer promptly and fully performs its obligations under the warranty or guarantee.

    January 16, 2023 I spent $ ******** end it I bought at the time I thought a used OEM 2014 Acura TSX six speed manual transmission. I have the receipt and contract that I signed it stating that I was gonna receive the transmission with an 8 to 9 days of my purchase and it was nothing but lies. I have called multiple multiple times and its nothing but lies. Theyre one department for shipping. The main girls name is ******* ******* she sounds like an oriental woman and she told me that the part got shipped somewhere else and that they were supposed to get it back from somewhere else and send it to me and then weeks went by and I still kept trying to call and check in most the time most ******* wasnt even there they know who I am right when I call the business they hang up on me and then a gentleman by the name of *************************** was supposed to issue me a refund and I never even asked for a refund. I just wanted the transmission now I want to refund because I have no longer have the car and Im still calling like an idiot and most of the time ******* doesnt answer my calls and he shares the desk with this other gentleman supposedly name **** I think the whole thing is a huge scam and I just know that theres so many other people like me that theyve done this two for the price of used engines and transmissions its really sad. These people have probably gotten away with the hundreds of thousands of dollars of peoples money. Anyway ******* was supposed to do the refund for me three months ago and it never happened. I told him OK well I dont have the same bank account anymore. I closed that bank account that I once had with Mocse credit union I closed it open a new bank account. He took down the information I never received nothing now he make sure he never answers my calls. Ill call from different phone numbers and a couple times hes messed up and answered these people are terrible people and its all a scam they stole $1,500.00 from me. Please help.
