I have subscribed to the Journal-Standard for over 20 years. I realize that they now have eliminated the Saturday and Monday print editions. However, for the past five weeks I have not received a Sunday paper, which is an important issue as it has the weeks advertisements. We have called and complained and sometimes he receives the Sunday paper that day (if we call before 11 am) and sometimes not. They say they will deliver it the next issue day, which in this case is Tuesday but it is not always delivered. I am 92 years old this year and have no desire to read the newspaper on line, nor can I as I have no means of doing so. When we call the customer support number it is an automated phone tree. It has been very rare to tal to an actual human being and if we are lucky enough to do so, they are obviously not of this country, having a strong accent which is difficult to undertand.I pay for a paper, now only five issues and have only received four for the past five weeks. This is unacceptable.

I have been telling them of our bad delivery service for months. We haven't received a Sunday paper in many weeks. I've called the Freeport phone number, sent letters to the **************** E-mailed Journal ************** chatted, talked to people in *************** and in South America with people I couldn't understand. All have promised to remedy this situation. Twice I have written to Gannett Publishing in ********. Again this morning no Sunday paper. I am feeling so frustrated since no one will listen or do anything for me. We put up with bad service for a long time until finally, I believe last summer I sent my first e-mail. Their website sends you in circles. I e-mail them and get a computer generated response to visit the help center which says to e-mail and round and round.
