Last summer 2024 I had Next Level contracted to resurface the decking around my pool. They were hired to fill in existing cracks and cover with an epoxy finish. Within a week of the new finish, there were cracks starting to form. ***** came out personally to view and attempt to repair the spots on several of the pictures. The repair looked like a repair on a brand new deck so he took $700 off the total $7,000+ job. Since last years job I called when I was closing the pool as new areas started to wear and chip (mostly around cover lock downs). I have called ***** and I have called **** who was working in the office when my job was being scheduled. I left detailed messages about the cracks forming and the chipping epoxy. I requested they bring out some matching epoxy and fix these areas. Neither ***** or **** has returned my phone call and as you can see in my attached pictures, the new service needs to be fixed.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your concerns. Were sorry to hear about the issues youre experiencing, but unfortunately, cracking and chipping are not covered under warranty since theyre caused by the underlying concrete shifting or surface stress not the coating itself. From your description, it sounds like ***** already came out once to repair and discount the original work to account for those early cracks.
We completely understand the frustration, but at this point, any additional work would fall outside of warranty and be considered a new service call. If youd like, we can provide a quote to repair and touch up the affected areas to get everything looking fresh again.

I am rejecting this response because:  This decking was clearly not appropriate for my pool.  The sales pitch and the actual job were very different.  The day the job was done ***** was called and asked to come and see it.  The entire surface of my cement decking was sanded down and I paid extra to have the cracks filled before the top coating was applied.  That was quite a bit of the original $7,000.

When ***** and another gentleman came to see the finished product, they could not fix the cracks and the job looked patched from the very beginning.  That was why the $700.00 was taken off the final payment. I was told the crack filler that obviously was not applied correctly or let to dry the appropriate amount of time.  All of this other wearing was from bare feet.  There were no cracks on the sides of the pool, just in the corners.  This product is earmarked for garage floors.  This should have lasted ***** years around my pool.  This was a clear vision of unskilled workers and inferior product.  My request originally when I reached out to ***** and **** by phone was for them to supply me with some resin epoxy with the color flex of my original choice and I would repair the areas myself.  I did not even ask them to come back to my home, and I got no response.  The warranty for this epoxy finish is 25 years and I had lodged a complaint within a day.  Now I have given it a fair amount of time and seen the saddest results moving forward.  If this is not corrected free of charge, I will take the company to court for a refund of the entire project amount ($6,300.00). This is very poor business practice.

      Sincerely,

      ******** *****

Hello ********. It looks like we had ***** out there this weekend to offer a solution. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to meet with you so we can work together on an outcome that works for both parties. Let us know what your decision is!

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with a condition.

***** did not come out but did call me on the phone.  We discussed  two options  1)  a "re-do" of the entire project as it was done this time or 2) the rubber variation that is newer to residential application.  I showed interest in that option as it may work better with my particular pool decking but I wanted to visit 1-2 people in my area that have had this new application to see what it looks like and feels like.  I have not heard back from ***** on that part but he said he would reach out to them and confirm.  As long as the preview of it is in process, I will look forward to my project being redone in the spring by the team ***** discussed that has a job supervisor on-site during the renovation.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

      ******** *****

They performed the service to my floors on 6/23/2025. We followed all the instructions to not go on the floors for a few days. The floor in my garage still had the cement bump variations on it after all there work. We had them come and inspect on 7/18/2025 and they did confirm that the job was poorly done. We asked for a monetary discount refund and they refused and said they are willing to redo it, I am not in agreement that they would do a better job in the **** and asked for money back instead. No one has reached out to resolve my dissatisfaction. THe commutation with this firm has been challenging right from the start and I wish I had not wasted my money in doing this project in my garage and basement spending $5800.00. I have emailed, called several numbers and have mailed letters with pictures to the main company with no response to my request but only to **** and not refund. Please advise.**** **********

Thank you for your detailed message regarding your recent project with us. We sincerely apologize for the frustration you have experienced with both the installation and the communication process. We understand how disappointing this has been, and we take your concerns seriously.
As noted during our inspection on July 18, we did confirm that aspects of the work did not meet our standards. In line with our warranty and service commitment, our company policy is to correct issues through repair or replacement of the installation. This ensures the floor is brought up to our quality standards and performs as intended over the long term.
While we understand your request for a refund, our warranty does not provide for monetary reimbursement. Instead, it covers the reinstallation or repair of the coating. We remain fully committed to redoing the work to ensure you receive the floor you were promised. Our team will follow stricter oversight procedures during this process to address the issues you experienced and to restore your confidence in our service.
We regret the communication delays and are putting additional measures in place to ensure you receive timely updates moving forward. A member of our management team will reach out to schedule the **** at a time that works best for you.
We value your business and remain committed to resolving this matter by delivering the quality floor you

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We understand your frustration with the multiple service visits and the concerns raised regarding your asphalt. We take all feedback seriously and have reviewed this matter with our team.
While one of our employees may have expressed an opinion onsite, after further review and discussion with our regional manager, we do not believe that the work performed by our equipment directly caused the asphalt damage in question. As a result, we must respectfully decline responsibility for repairs or reimbursement related to your asphalt.
That said, we do want to ensure your original project is completed to our standards. Our focus remains on ensuring the coating itself performs as warranted. If there are outstanding issues with the floor that still require attention, we are committed to addressing those within the scope of our warranty.
We regret that this has caused you frustration and appreciate your understanding of our position. Should you wish to discuss repair options outside of warranty coverage, we would be glad to provide recommendations or connect you with a qualified contractor who specializes in asphalt repair.

My balance with the company was $2100 for cement work done!I withheld $600 because the work in my opinion was not completed nor did they have enough material for what I had paid for! The real problem is that I wrote a check for $1500 and they electronically took my information from my check without my permission and charged me the $2100! I believe that is fraudulent on the part of this company to do that without my permission or to even call me to discuss!
