    We moved into our current house 7.5 years ago. We were told by Mid-Century that we would have fiber internet in 7 years. When we callled recently we were told that they had no plans on giving us fiber internet. They have ran the cable to all the neighbors I turned in a complaint to the BBB approximately 3 years ago, and when they came out then they said we would have it in the fall of 2023. Now our neighbors have it and they are refusing to hook us up.

    Got called yesterday was told I would be hooked up in 3 weeks. If true this complaint will be resolved.

    This letter is in response to the concerns Better Business Bureau (BBB) received from *****
    ******* regarding service issues with Mid Century Telephone Cooperative.

    On May 28, 2024, A Mid Century Telephone Cooperative representative spoke with Mr. *******,
    listened to his concerns, and informed him it was concluded his location could be added to one
    of our current projects. Mr. ******* was also told he is now scheduled to get fiber within the next
    month. The site survey was completed on June 13, 2024 and Mr. ******* was informed at that
    time the drop to his home would be buried within the next two weeks. A representative will then
    contact Mr. ******* to schedule Fiber installation to his home.

    I hope this information provides the information you need for this matter. As you can see from
    our response, we have worked with Mr. ******* to resolve this issue and he will have Fiber
    installed in his home soon.
