In the last year ***** has provided very expert assessment and service to furnaces and air conditioners in my home and 3 rental properties that I manage. His attention to detail, assessment of what's needed to maintain these units in good working condition, and clear communication of options available to achieve that goal make him a valued partner in my management success!

Had them install a ********** through the wall air conditioning system. Very good unit. The problems started with their service depth. Just wanted them to clean the unit after about 7 seasons of use. Did a basic cleaning at that time. 3 years later had them come out for another cleaning but the tech said he wasn't here for that. Told me I needed Freon. My unit doesn't use the expensive type but he charged me $475 for less than 1lb of Freon. Had another tech come out for what we thought was a cleaning and again he said he wasn't here for that. Gave me a price breakdown of what he thought the unit needed. A blower wheel for $3000.00. More Freon. A deep cleaning for $875. Called another HVAC company and they were speechless. I am not against companies make a fair profit but outright gouging the consumer is disgusting. It's the defenseless/trusting homeowner that is relying on the service company to be open and honest about what they need to service the unit that is what's wrong with this company. Don't take their monthly service contract...it's worthless. Then they had the gall of having a service salesman text me...not call... to see if I wanted to move forward with their outrageously expensive service breakdown list! I texted him back telling him exactly what I was going to do....starting here then yelp and FB and anything I could do to warn people about this company. No one wants to be in the situation we found ourselves in; we woke up in the morning to our basement flooded, with a burst hot water heater. American Vintage Home was amazing, coming quickly on-site to get our hot water heater repaired, and up and running again.***** and his team team was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind to us as they went through the process. They worked together really well with our restoration company to ensure that damage was being reversed to the basement while the hot water heater was being replaced. That kind of emergency situation is chaotic, but they were awesome throughout. Unfortunately, the hot water heater bursting made it clear that there were additional problems in the house that needed immediate repair; several valves (including the water main!) wouldn't shut off properly, which required a call to emergency services and late-evening work. ***** and his team helped us through the process, and we now have a much higher confidence in our house, as he's caught and expertly repaired those other problems .In addition to ***** and his team, we've worked with many other awesome and talented people at American Vintage Home, from ******, who helped us diagnose and repair an HVAC issue, to **** and *****, who helped us perform our whole-house plumbing inspections, inside and outside our house. We're happy to be members of their home service plan and are exceptionally impressed with their great team and great work.American Vintage Home, Inc.
