    I was charged a $200 cancellation fee by this business despite canceling my appointment in good faith. I originally scheduled an appointment for July 18, 2025, at 11:00am. On July 16, 2025, I called approximately 49 hours before the scheduled time and couldnt get through. I followed up with an email. I was a first-time client, had never received services from this provider, and canceled due to a work emergency.I was charged a $200 late cancellation fee for not canceling 48 hours in advance.When I reached out to explain, the business owner refused to waive the fee and told me I was banned from booking in the future. After I posted a fair, honest review, she responded dismissively and attempted to frame her position as policy-based, despite offering no flexibility or acknowledgment of the circumstances. She later said she would refund the fee if I could provide a call log, but I was unable to retrieve the record due to using a work phone.I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, as no service was rendered and I believe the charge is excessive and unfair, especially for a new client acting in good faith.?Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full refund of the $200 cancellation fee and that the business be advised to use clearer, more transparent, and more reasonable cancellation policiesparticularly for new clients. I also request that they respond professionally and fairly to client concerns in the future.

    This new client did not leave me a voicemail or any call of her calling me to cancel the appointment. When I requested proof she said she didnt have any. I use the square app and  every person who makes an appointment had to pay a fee if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment. She has harassed and bullied me so I have refunded her and kindly ask that she not make an appointment in the future if she does not like my cancellation policy. I refunded her this morning at 850am.
