Signed with Straight north on 1/19/2022 to have them complete SEO work for pur website. They billed us for month 1 on 1/19. Then they billed month 2 on 2/1, just 10 days later. Had we known they would do this we would have simply begun services on 2/1 and we thought this very odd but figured we missed that when speaking with them and as much of a red flag as that was, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and dint say anything about it.By month 3 of our contract with them, they had not uploaded a single piece of SEO work to our website. It was at that point when we questioned them why nothing had yet been done they said "oh, we can't upload to your shopify store, you need to pay us another 900 to do that"..... this was despite the fact that they explicitly told us they COULD do that before we signed with them and that it was included in our monthly price.It was also at this time we noted that they were over due in producing 2 months of work we had already paid for. Their own dashboard even showed it was overdue.After we called them on their bait and switch tactics they said "oh we will waive the 900 this one time"....... ummmmm. No. You're not doing us a favor by waiving it, you had already agreed you would do it in what we already paid.At this point we no longer trusted them with our login details for our website given their shady behavior and allowing due dates to lapse with no communications from then. As such we then cut off their access from all of our sensitive data at this point and requested a refund since they failed to deliver the promised work product and got an attitude with us about their shady behavior. We are seeking a **** refund for the 3 months of work they failed to deliver. THEY breached their agreement with us and what they promised to do, we have no use able work product from them still and they refuse to refund us. They offered to complete the work but we can no longer trust them with our data.
