    1. 3/18/24 2. ***** 3. A vehicle within compliance of ************************* Act 4. The vehicle in question a **************************** compliance with the ************************* Act and contains defects in the powertrain components and the dealership refuses to acknowledge their liabilty to the vehicle If you make a retail sale of a used vehicle that does not meet one of the above exceptions, then you must provide a 15-day/500-mile warranty, whichever is first, for power train components and must provide a statutorily-mandated disclosure of the warranty to your customer. The warranty is met if the vehicle functions for the ordinary purpose of transportation and substantially free of defects in a power train component.For the purpose of the statute, the term power train component is broadly defined to include the engine block, head, all internal engine parts, oil pan and gaskets, water pump, intake manifold, transmission and all internal transmission parts, torque converter, drive shaft, universal joints, rear axle and all rear axle internal parts, and rear wheel bearings. If a repair is needed on a covered power train component during the warranty period, the dealer must cover 50% of the repair cost of each of the first 2 repairs for the first $200 of repair costs plus the entire amount in excess of that. If the cost to repair is greater than the value of the vehicle, the dealer can opt to repurchase the vehicle from the customer at the same price that the customer had paid for it. The statute also requires that dealers make the following written disclosure, either on the buyers order or on a stand-alone disclosure, in at least 10-point type:5. the business has refused to resolve the issues 6.     Me and my Husband purchased a car from them back in September. The sales professional was very courteous and friendly. The sales manager **** advised us that they dont sell junk cars. We had the car, made one payment and had electrical issues that were going to cost close to $1000 to repair. When I originally took the car to get checked out after I noticed the power steering going on and it gf the sales rep advised me they would take care of us and we scheduled an appointment. Much to my frustration they told us we had to pay for the inspection. I called ************** and they got me in quickly and saved me over $100. After I found out I was having problems with the car that only continued to get worse (steering wheel was shaking pretty bad) so called the manager **** and Drillon for 3 days. They refused to return my calls. So I left a ****** review. Finally by Friday I was tired of waiting for a call back from the manager so I called ************** and left a message with the owner. Not too much after **** calls me back being highly aggressive. Says we are no longer welcome to set a foot at dfvw and he would call sterling ***** to have them take over the car problem. Well **** never did. ************** ended up helping us tremendously. I will say never buy a car from Dixon **** Volkswagen. The sales managers are extremely unprofessional and refuse to help you if they sell you a garbage car. They sold my parents a garbage car as well. The van they bought from them was completely rusted out where the engine is housed. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
