I hired this company to install oak flooring in two rooms.They were also to remove existing flooring. I paid a deposit to the owner that was said to be for purchasing materials and that the order might take ten to 14 days to come in.About two weeks later I was informed he could start.He was supposed to arrive the following Monday.No one showed up at all that day, in spite of being told they were on the way. This kind of scenario continued for over a week. Promises, excuses, then nothing. During that time I tried to convey that time was of the essence. I got more promises but very little work. All he did was tear up flooring, left all the trash, and floors are now in worse condition than before.He also took my key to the unit which was supposed to be returned to the front desk at the end of the day.Things just kept deteriorating as the lies continued and blame was being cast on me for pressuring him because I "texted and called too much". Yes, I texted and/or called every time no one was where they were supposed to be - so if it was too much, that should tell you something. He said he would return the key and my $2500.00 deposit and that he was sorry he took the job. Me TOO!! So far, returning anything is just another lie.
