    I was refused an appointment for a medically necessary *** at this location because I would not pay a deposit they claimed was required since insurance takes a while to pay ***** insurance (******) is in-network, and Ive already met my deductible so this demand appears to violate their in-network contract. In-network providers are required to bill insurance first and collect only the patients portion after insurance processes the claim.When I asked for a written policy explaining this deposit, staff said they had none and refused to schedule my ***. That means I was denied access to a covered diagnostic service for no valid reason.Patients deserve transparent, lawful billing practices not paywalls blocking care. *** filed a formal complaint with ******* Provider Network Compliance team and encourage other patients to do the same if this happens to them.I truly hope this issue is resolved soon so patients myself included can access the upright *** services we rely on without unnecessary financial barriers.
