Bought 2 longswords; they sent one. I reached out to them in 4 different ways, and they never responded. The sword I received wasn't anything special and is not worth the money I lost. Don't do business with them.

RUN. AWAY. Do not walk. They ship the wrong products late. No response to my follow up. Now these schmucks wont stop sending me their emails, no matter how many zero star reviews I drop. Total scam.

Pretty garbage. Trusted that the hilt on the sword I bought would be same quality as the blade and liked the discount, since big discounts in the sword world show up often. They welded on a bolt and nut to hold this Frankenstein thing together. Snapped in half with just a little pressure, at least I can maybe use the blade in other projects. Do not trust. The scabbard was actually kinda nice, though. Props to the leatherworkers, big downs to everything else.

After ordering a couple of mediocre but passable swords from them, I then paid for a custom-order rapier as a gift. After about 5 weeks, I received a shipment notification, but no sword. An inquiring e-mail resulting in the first of a bunch of e-mails with an assortment of excuses. "The sword was damaged in transit, but we are working *********** to make a new one." "We are still working hard to get your new sword ready, thank you for your patience!" But after almost 3 months, there was still no sword. I decided to cut my losses and cancel the order, but they will not refund for custom orders. Instead, I got a store credit, which I immediately applied to the purchase of 2 more swords (I have no illusions about the quality of these swords - they will simply be display swords, nothing else). After 3 weeks, and an order confirmation, there has been zero communication and no swords have been delivered. I have gotten no response to my ************ other people who have left reviews here, I got taken in by the appearance of a "sale" complete with a countdown timer which will give you the impression that time is running out to get a certain sword at this discounted price before it goes back up to the much higher list price. This is nothing but deception; the "sale" prices are the normal list prices, without exception. Occasionally, an online coupon will appear which will discount an item a further 20%, but the truth is, the supposed high prices of these swords are nothing but window dressing. Once you order from these guys, you can expect a relentless onslaught of e-mails advertising SALES and COUPONS and other special offers. Don't fall for it. These are cheap, poorly made swords with artificial markups which are then discounted to make you believe you have scored a great deal. Anyone can make a slick-looking, hyperbolic website. Do your research first before wasting your money!

Terrible absolutely TERRIBLE. I ordered for my son's birthday present the end of July. The blade came extremely late after paying priority shipping. It was damaged and the sheath was damaged. Contacted them for a new sheath after my son decided to keep the blade with its minor imperfection. They send new sheath- it arrives damaged in the exact same spot as the first sheath. I contact them again with pictures and was offered 10% off if I'd be willing to keep the damaged sheath. To which I said no I'd like a sheath he can be proud to display - they agreed to ship. I wake up this morning to an email saying they are now out of stock and will send when they are back in stock. No thank you. I am now asking for full refund. This wasn't a $20 purchase YOU SHOULD DO BETTER ENSURING YOU HAVE QUALITY PRODUCT TO SHIP as well as COMPETENT STORAGE FACILTY AND SHIPPING MEASURES if you are going to be soliciting such a "high quality" product. Ridiculous.

The sword I ordered was a clearly Aragorn's sword from LOTR, but was not listed as such. I emailed BB about this and was told basically they don't have the licensing for Aragorn's sword. Upon ordering the sword the app to track the package was strictly in Chinese with no option to translate. Almost a month after I ordered it, it got here and luckily unlike some other reviews I've seen, it is in one place and does appear to be somewhat sturdy, though it does come with a printed piece of paper saying there's no warranty for the sword and if you use it as a weapon it will most likely break. You'd think for a website called BATTLING BLADES they might sell blades that can actually be used as such. All in all it's a cheap sword, what do you expect? The sheathe and grip are both made with the type of thin pleather often seen on couches, and the inside of the sheathe is just wood with foam slabs glued all the way down it to replicate the tight fit a sheathe should have for less then half the cost of a genuine one. The sword itself seems all in place, no parts are wobbling and it's decently sharp. All in all I'd say you get what you pay for, it's a cheap sword and sheathe that's made to looks nice in pictures and then when you have it and start looking at it up close the magic fades and you're left with a sword that will most likely fall apart on impact if you ever hit anything with it. Also be aware that the website does appear to censor bad reviews and a lot of other reviews say their swords came warped and broken beyond just "Careless postal worker" standards.

I placed an order with Batting Blades on 25 April 2024, never received a shipment notice for items that were "ready to ship within 1-2 weeks". I was told **** would look into it. Never heard back. I requested a refund and got offered a discount on my next order. The order information was wiped from there server. Then I was told they could do a PayPal refund. AND I have been waiting for that. I keep asking for my money back but they are just laughing about all of this. This "company" should be shut down, they are just taking peoples money. Do not shop at Battling Blades.

Total rip off. The sword they sent was damaged and the leather on the handle was shredded on the front and back. They refuse to work with me on fixing the problem. I have to pay an arm and a leg to ship it back to get a refund. I paid almost $300 for it too. My bad for not checking reviews first.

Terrible company. Product was very low quality. My wife bought me what was described as a hunting knife. The knife was useless. I tried to return it a couple of days after Christmas, and they said I missed the return window. No exceptions. Avoid this company!

I'm kinda a blade guy, always looking out for a deal. I almost got taken by this bunch, but before I got too excited I remembered "if it sounds too good to be true, it is." So, I looked at it with a wooden eye. There is no review lower than 4-star, and very few of them. Look, first of all, a 24" Greek Xiphos blade out of D2 Toolsteel for $150? A 12" billet of D2 cost $50. Just a 12"X2" billet costs that, it's not yet a blade, get it? Do the math. Nobody's going to sell you a 40" ************* **** Carbon steel Katana for $99.99. Done right, that sword will fetch $400, easy. Don't be stupid. This is c*** made out of tinfoil in ********.
