on 12/10/21 i made a purchase on 2011 GMC Terrain at a place called ******* Auto Group located in Midlothian, **. The deal was originally made with an employee of theirs by the name on *****. He stated that if i buy the car that he would give me a 1yr warranty with it and he specifically said no other dealership would do that. i told him i would think about the car bc there was other cars i wanted to check out. I didnt make it back that day or the next so i called ***** that following tuesday 12/07/21 the phone went to a voicemail that wasnt setup. Then i called the actual car dealership 12/07/21 and asked if they still had that car up there and i wanted to see it again and test drive it again. I was told that it was still there hadn't sold yet. The man who i had spoken with name was **** and that is who finished working with me and also sho finished out the purchase. He also called ***** to verify the deal he had made with me about the price and a 1yr warranty bc i was paying cash. 12/8 test drove car separately my dad tested and i tested. after my d made mention it needed some front end work done to it they said that they was aware of it and it will be fixed by the time i purchased it. i was told they didnt want to rush and fix the car if i wasn't to purchase it. They also wanted me to pay half the money so they could fix the car; which i and my father thought was odd why would i put my down payment to ensure the car would be fix. when the car your selling should be in decent order if your a dealership. that made me feel like they was going to use my funds to buy parts or to fix the car which unbeknownst to us it had needed major work beside just the ball baron on the front driver side. i didn't put a down payment down that day. They assured me that they will have the car fixed by that Friday it'll be ready for pick up. I again went back friday evening to purchase the truck along with my mom and stepdad and 2children to make the purchase i paid cash $8,000
