On 12/08/2020, Gigs Construction came out to a home we were closing on at address *************************************************** to give a quote to repair the support beam that sits under the home in the crawl space. After receiving the quote of $3,100, the seller of the home agreed to pay Gigs out of closing funds to repair the home after closing. We closed on the home on 12/11 and Gigs was mailed a check in the full amount. We called ******, owner of Gigs, to schedule a time for him to come out to do the repair. He said that $3,100 was just an estimate and that it could cost more than this. I got my lawyer involved, and he backtracked and said it wont cost anymore than $3,100, but they cannot come out until after the wet (snow and rain) season is over. So we wait til it was dry in the summer and tried calling again. No answer. We continue trying to call all summer and fall long and he never answers. Finally in November of 2021, I call from a different number and he answers immediately. After a lot of back and forth he says we arent on schedule until March and that he has to come back out and look in January since its been so long. Then he stops responding. Finally in February he responds and says our appointment is 3/10. 3/10 comes and he doesnt show up. Obviously doesnt answer any of my messages. Finally, I put a negative review on ******** and he texts me saying h*** give me $1200 of my money back, but again cannot provide proof any work was done (he said he paid the other amount to a structural engineer but cannot give me a name or date said engineer came out). I spoke with two other customers who he also cheated out of money. Its illegal and wrong what he is doing to people. I would like our money back and for this man to stop hurting innocent families.
