    Ive been renting unit 239 since June of 2023 at *************************. I was told on the phone originally that my payment was going to be 350 a month and if i paid two months up front, I got a month free. yet when the company gave me my contract it was 636. something i didnt notice until after i signed. it was not for 2 months, it was for 1. they lied. I have had issues with rude staff. theyve locked my unit and charged me 100 dollars extra over the confusion of the cost.in November, I noticed new rat and mouse traps in the hallways of the facility. December i moved my brand new 2000 dollar bed frame out of the unit- it smelled so bad of urine that I had to pay 2500 to two companies to try to remove the smell. the smell still is not out of my new home. When i finally opened my unit in January 17 of 2024 to move into my new apartment, there was a pungent odor and upon looking closer, there was mice and rat f**** and urine everywhere- on EVERYTHING.the boxes had been eaten through and the ************* have been eaten through. everything has been contaminated. I have to have a biohazard company come in and try to salvage my belongings for 3500.i have family heirlooms in there. ive paid thousands of dollars. my renters insurance does not cover this and their insurance is only for ****** but theres 100k of damages.when the i contacted the manager *****, she said that she was going to escalate the insurance claim and that i would NOT need to pay Jan 29th. however on February 2nd, she called to tell me that she never said that i didnt have to pay and informed me that she was going to lock my unit.she would not let me speak to her manager. she hung up on me when i tried to ask for help. my unit is now locked and i cannot make the insurance claim.i got sick and was hospitalized 3x the second to last week of january for a mysterious respiratory infection after visiting the unit. the unit ive been paying for and now my stuff is at risk for auction
