Refund and Exchange Policy

CANCELLATIONS:Orders which have been shipped are not subject to cancellations. Orderswhich have not been shipped may be canceled in writing by Buyer to AMERICANMACHINE TOOLS CORP within five (5) days of the date of the purchase order.Orders which are canceled more than five (5) days after the date of thepurchase order will normally be subject to a cancellation charge equalto five percent (5%) of the purchase order price of the machine, accessoriesor combination thereof. This is to compensate for the expenses relatedto processing your order. If any modification of a machine has occurredas directed by you or your purchase order, such as installing a digitalreadout or table power feed, then the cancellation charge shall be equalto ten percent (10%) of the total purchase order value in order to compensateus for the difficulty in finding a buyer for a modified machine. Once a machine has shipped, the order is difficult to cancel and will result in a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping costs, so please be careful when ordering a machine .

REFUNDS:Please do not purchase equipment if you are not sure about it or havereason to believe you may want to return it.
• The cost of shipping is not our money, we give it to the freightcompany, it is not refundable.
• We sell only new machinery. Once a machine has been used, it isnot refundable.
• Customized machinery is not refundable because we cant find anotherbuyer for it.
• Machines ordered built just for you are not refundable becauseit can take years to find another buyer.
• Tooling that has been cut to length for you is not refundable becausewe cant find another buyer for it.

RESTOCKINGFEE: Please do not purchase equipment if you are not sure about itor have reason to believe you may want to return it. If Buyer choosesto return a machine for any reason, it will be subject to a minimum 25%restocking fee (30% for Baileigh and JET machines) if it has not beenused. This money is collected by American Machine Tools Company. If themachine has been used it is not returnable unless it is clearly defectiveand attempts to repair it with replacement parts and tech support fromAmerican Machine Tools Company or it's manufacturer's representatives,were not successful. No returns accepted after 30 days from original shipdate of the machine. The expense of shipping the machine to and from theBuyer is the responsibility of the Buyer.

Please think everything through carefully before you order a machine to avoid having to cancel or return the machine.
