    I accepted a position as a 3rd shift Security Officer at ******** location, agreeing to work from Wednesday to Saturday, 11 pm to 7 am, at a rate of $19.00 per hour. I signed the employment agreement and possess all necessary documentation confirming my acceptance. Despite this, I was repeatedly informed that the company was awaiting the arrival of my uniforms.Subsequently, Jermella, a portfolio manager, instructed me to meet with the building's Director. However, she later claimed that "just because you sign a job offer doesn't mean that you have the job," which I believe contradicts standard employment practices regarding job offers and acceptance.I received an official welcome email from Titan, further solidifying my belief in my employment status. Nevertheless, Jermella later contacted me to inform me that the Director had chosen another candidate instead of me, citing my piercings as the reason for this decision. I perceive this action as discriminatory since I had not yet commenced employment

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand the concerns raised regarding the offer of employment and subsequent communications.

    Upon review, the individual in question was extended a conditional offer for a 3rd shift Security Officer position at a ***************** property. As is standard in our hiring process, all offers are contingent upon meeting site-specific requirements, and client approval. While the individual did sign an employment agreement and received a welcome email, the assignment was not fully finalized until the candidate met with the on-site management team and was approved for hire at that particular location 

    It is our understanding that the management team ultimately decided to proceed with a different candidate.

    We regret any confusion this may have caused and want to clarify that no discrimination occurred. We remain committed to fair employment practices and would be happy to consider this individual for alternative placements that align with their qualifications and preferences.

    Should the individual be open to other opportunities with Titan, we encourage them to reach out to our recruiting team so we can explore potential matches at other client locations.
