I have serious concerns with this property management company stemming from personal property mishandling and inadequate response to tenant harassment.First, the maintenance staff discarded my personal clothing (4 sweaters, 3 pants, a wool vest, & a scarf) left in a shared laundry room. There are no posted policies or warnings about unattended items. The clothes were in the shared space for less than 24 hrs. This purposeful disposal of property is unacceptable and reflects a disregard for tenant possessions. This event is confirmed by them and is shown on video surveillance.I've also faced repeated harassment from a neighboring tenant who has impeded my access to my apartment on 4 separate occasions. The 2nd to last instance, he followed my female guest from my flat, even after being asked to stop. The last occasion, he finally left after I informed him I would call the police if he didn't move. This creates an unsafe living environment. Despite multiple complaints from myself and other tenants, the management's advice to seek police intervention proved futile, as the matter was deemed by the ******* police a landlord-tenant issue, leaving me without support or resolution.These two incidents alone highlight a concerning lack of property management and tenant safety measures at Winnemac Properties.But, it's also not the first time the maintenance staff have disregarded my property or privacy. They have entered my apartment without 48 hrs notice and have destroyed my property while fixing maintenance issues. These particular events were confirmed and then handled by Winnemac Properties with compensation.Yet, the continuation of tenant harassment and continuation of property damage have not been handled by Winnemac Properties. I repeatedly requested, in writing, compensation for my lost items and a firm commitment to ensuring tenant security or release from my lease. I have received no response. I hope for a fair resolution. I want to feel safe in my home.Initial Complaint

Good afternoon,
We are responding to complaint ID ********. Please be advised that we have no record of this name, phone number or email address associated with any resident who ever resided at this building. We have no idea who this person is. In addition, we have a very stringent pest control program at this building, which provides for regular treatments of the common areas and all problem areas. Please see the attached treatment records for YTD 2023.
We respectfully request that this claim be dismissed since we do not have a record of this individual and have provided documentation of our practices.

I am rejecting this response because: My family member lives at the location ********************************* I clearly sent in pictures that was in the hallway of this building with a dead rodent on the floor. I dont know if the pest control pictures was from multiple units but they dont have regularly exterminations going on. They go up every year on parking and the rent but dont even update the units. I will do everything I can to make sure this is handled. This isnt fair. I will be contacting *************** with the pictures I have.

As we stated previously, we do not know who this person is, as they have never resided in the building at **** ***************** Nor do we have a resident name or unit number to be able to respond to whether or not the resident reported pest control issues that would have been addressed by management. In order to respond appropriately, we would need to research the resident's work order/complaint history to provide the appropriate documentation to show we addressed the concerns.
In addition, for this person to request a "desired settlement" of a billing adjustment seems inappropriate since no information was submitted documenting report dates or complaints. We are not guilty of any neglect or wrongdoing and will be happy to prove that if we are notified what complaints, if any, were ignored.
We provided numerous copies of pest control logs and can provide many more to the City to show that we treat the building regularly and have done so for a very long time. We, therefore, respectfully request that this case be dismissed.
