About This Business
I left a career in technology to pursue my passion for photography over 20 years ago and never looked back!
I love absolutely everything about what I do. I love making photographs. Of anything. Of everything. Of everyone. Families, weddings, food photography, branding...the challenge of bringing out the natural beauty and unique personality of who or whatever is in front of my camera is what I love the most!
I’m a member of the Chicago Photography Center's (CPC) Founders' Circle and served on its Board of Directors, while also teaching film and darkroom classes, as well as Digital Photography and wedding workshops. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Friends of Lakeview as well as the Lakeview Public Art Committee. I was voted the 2009 Chamber Member of the Year, and awarded 2018's Above and Beyond Award. I've been published, interviewed, and filmed for a reality TV show. I’ve photographed two cookbooks, love exhibiting my personal travel work and have been featured in several gallery spaces around Chicago.
And, I love sharing my passion and experience with newcomers to the art through individual, private and group classes and workshops.
I teach in all areas of photography, from iPhoneography and Smartphone Photography to fancy DSLRs, and look forward to helping you coax out the best photographer in you, too!
