    On Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, I utilized the services of The Muscle Guys LLC to load personal items from a storage unit, as well as an apartment, into a U-Haul truck. The total amount paid to the Muscle Guys LLC was $401.47. One of the items in the storage unit was an antique desk, which the movers were told was fragile. While loading, the movers damaged the desk in multiple places, including breaking off the privacy board from the base of the desk, as well as damaging one of the support wings for the upper portion of the desk. On September 1st, 2024, I emailed The Muscle Guys regarding the damage and requested information on how to receive compensation. On that same the company emailed me back and stated that the owner would not be able to respond until September 9th. On September 11th the owner, ***** *****, emailed me back and requested a phone call for September 12th. I spoke with the ***** via telephone on September 20th, and she requested photographs of the damage. On October 16th I provided the photographs via email to *****.On October 27th, I received an email from ***** with an estimate from a company in ******** to repair the damage to the desk. The estimate stated that the desk would need to be seen in person in order to provide an accurate cost for the repair. Because I had moved and no longer resided in ********, I obtained two in person quotes from companies in ********, one of which quoted $750 and the other between $550 and $650 to complete the repairs. I emailed both of these quotes to ***** on January 15th, 2025.After not receiving a response to the quotes, I sent a follow up email on January 29th, and February 10th, again with no response. On February 14th I called The Muscle Guys and left a voicemail asking to be contacted back. After still receiving no response, I emailed again on February 21st and as of todays date have received no response from The Muscle Guys regarding my damage claim.I am seeking funds to repair the damaged desk.
