  They damaged our family 50+ year old table given to us by our deceased parents. They refuse to repair, offering to pay half while admitting they beoke it. They say IL law, the IL ******************* and their insurance company precludes them from repairing what they broke. IF YOU ARE NOT A BASEBALL PLAYER FOR THE **** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their unprofessional behavior toward regular peoples' belongings is unconscionable, immoral and illegal. Shame on Midway Moving.

  Providing affordable and quality relocation service is most important to us. 
  Unfortunately, during the relocation with **********************, it appears a  table was damaged. 
  Although compensation was provided based on Midways legal and contractual obligation.

  
  The McCormicks chose basic valuation on the day services were provided which is .30 cents per lb per article.  Based on the claim form submitted, the weight of the table was 45 lbs.  Therefore there was a settlement offer made along with a good faith offer.

  This company is a drug users dream! They don't drug test or have any screenings, as they advertise. They enable many addicts by providing them with a paycheck, so they can walk to the end of the block and get drugs. Many of the employees are users, and know they can get an easy job by just being a body to provide the grunt work. Use your better judgement when seeking moving assistance. Go elsewhere!! Customers have had their belongings broken, stolen or misplaced, because of the movers being strung out.

  Midway Movers drove the truck through and overhead cable that went from a ****-line pole to the house I just rented and they were moving me into, which pushed the connected rod into the wall of the homes exterior. The drivers apologized, and called it into the office. They documented the entire incident on the final receipt, and said that the officer would be reaching out on Monday. Monday came and went; I left several messages. They finally returned my call days later. I completed all the paperwork they requested. I gave all of this to my landlord, as the property is in his name. Months passed Midway completely denied that incident occurred. My landlord had to have his attorney call and threaten them with litigation. Until, this day, 6 years later, they still have not paid to have the damage on the home repaired. What a disgusting company.

  Good Morning ****************, It appears that this incident occurred in 2017. If the Wires were low hanging, Midway is not liable. All height restrictions must be clearly marked and noted.
