      No payment to principal I paid over $1600 in interest in 5 months on a $3000 loan. I was desperate for the funds. The payoff today is $3170. This is robbery and why are they still in business? All of these predator companies need to be shut down. I'm ashamed and feel like a fool. No payment to the principal. Stay away from them

       Please See below: They also say I owe them more money when they signed for the payoff on the agreed day of payoff.
      that they signed for from **** They are illegal vultures that need to be shut down...I also copied the harassing emails they have been sending. I also spoke to ******* on the phone and he said he couldn't transfer to a supervisor to discuss my dilemma and he said he had no way to transfer me. He was lying and I still have not heard from a manager....Shut them down and give them negative rating.

      No payment to principal I paid over $1600 in interest in 5 months on a $3000 loan. I was desperate for the funds. The payoff today is $3170. This is robbery and why are they still in business? All of these predator companies need to be shut down. I'm ashamed and feel like a fool. No payment to the principal.       I was solicited by mail as "pre-approved" for an unsecured loan by balancecredit and needing car repairs that aren't in the budget currently, I went to their website and started the application process. Having already given my social security number and while entering my checking account info, I had an epiphanous moment and stopped to open a new tab to check into them which led me here and I instantly realized that I had just made a wise decision. I went back and began to delete line by line the information I had already entered, but the page interfered and although I was able to remove my checking account information the portions containing my name, address, and SSN were gone and I was unable to page back. So, NOW they have a lot of personal and easily mishandleable information that makes me pretty uncomfortable. Mostly, I'm posting this so that others will have the sense to research these types of solicitors BEFORE they divulged sensitive information. Does the BBB feel that I have a legitimate concern about exposure here? RSVP, Thank you!

      I paid balance credit off a year ago they emailed me a letter stating I've paid them off ,I've called them several times about updating my credit report to paid off, they keep telling me they will look into it, I never missed a payment yet on my credit report it says I did.       On 8/21/23, I submitted an application to balancecredit.com and was approved. I read the loan documents and clicked in agreement with them. I then was asked for my banking information, which I entered, and then had to provide a confirmation code sent from my bank to verify account information for the direct deposit. After entering this information, the screen was loading and then it all of a sudden stopped and said my loan was denied. I immediately called and they said they could not provide me with any information. I asked a clarifying question regarding the process and why did I sign and agree to loan terms if it was denied. I was given no information and the agent did not appear to be aware of anything regarding the loan process. I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone to issue a complaint. I was put on a long hold and finally spoke with *******. He said he could see I was approved, but while providing banking information I was then denied. My banking information was accurate (hence the verification code from my bank) and I use this account for many accounts and bills and it also receives my paychecks to it. I asked again why would I sign loan terms and agreement. ******* provided me no further information. I informed him this was very concerning and I was filing a complaint with the BBB. I asked for his first and last name and he informed me he could not provide me with a last name. I asked if he had an employee number or identification and he said he was not allowed to provide this as well. I asked for his job title, which he responded with "supervisor". I do not like that this company has all of my personal information including banking information and could not provide any solid answers to why this happened. I was also told by ******* this was "normal".

      BalanceCredit.com is a predatory online lender that is breaking countless laws in regards to interest rate. Companies that lend monies to residents cannot charge more than 24% interest. Consumers should be skeptical of any lender, that promise easy money without any financial consequence. The truth is often buried in the fine print. Interest rates like these that have been involved in countless settlements with the ** often exceed ******************************************************************* need of an honest and lawful loan. If my remaining balance is not corrected and charged off (I have made consistent payments of over $3500 and nearly 90% of the payments have gone to interest) I will be filing a suit with the attorney general against this predatory lender.

      I reject this response due to violation of State Usury Laws in ********, as well as TILA: The Truth in Lending Act (TILA) requires lenders to give borrowers clear and accurate information about the conditions of their loans, such as interest rates, fees, and repayment terms. Borrowers also have the ability under TILA to cancel certain kinds of loans within three days of signing the loan agreement. ******** usury rules restrict the amount of interest a lender may charge on a loan. These laws differ by state, but in general, they protect borrowers against high interest rates and aid in preventing predatory activities.

      BalanceCredit.com has violated a number of Predatory Lending Laws, and if the remaining amount is not removed upon receipt of this message I will be contacting the Attorney General and taking legal action.

      I had a payment due june 2nd 2023 of $147 so i wanted to pay it off before that payment of $147 was due so i I asked for a payoff balance as of June the 2nd 2023 and the amount was $1777.31 they took out an unauthorized payment on June 1st 2023 in the amount of $147 then I paid off my balance June 1st 2023 they didn't process it til June 2nd 2023 so now they got me owing them $227 in daily fees but I shouldn't owe nothing because I paid it in full on the due date plus they had already stole an additional $147 that was the whole reason I paid it in full so they need to refund me for a $147

      This company is reporting to *********** that I have an open loan with them. I do not. I have never received funds from this company. Furthermore, they are reporting that I am seriously delinquent. My bank account proves I have never received funds from them. I have emailed them several times at ************************* to correct this information. The dates I emailed are 8/14/22, 1/30/23 and 4/14/23, I have copies to support this. I have also disputed with the credit bureau with no resolution. This company has never attempted to contact me about my dispute or to collect the money they claim I owe.       We were notified we are in a federal disaster zone (as of April 15th, 2023). I notified this company of the situation and to explore what forbearance or deferment programs they have available. The agent I spoke with informed me they do not have any programs available to assist me - all they can do is DOUBLE my next payment. I requested to speak with a supervisor to get clarity on WHY they do not offer a federal disaster zone victim any kind of forbearance (the answer at this point was obvious - because they are a predatory loan scam company, but that's a different issue) ... and this is where things got even stranger. After being placed on hold multiple times for several minutes (the agent was polite but clueless) she informed me no supervisor was available to assist me (what a shock!). After insisting to speak with a supervisor, I was informed 'someone would get back to me hopefully in 3 business days). So after reaching out to this company in an effort to ensure that I do NOT default or miss any payments, to communicate that due to a federal disaster declaration I was attempting to work out something that at least is an arrangement that is suitable for them, not only could they not assist me but was unable to put a supervisor on the line with me to provide any explanation.

      Our records reflect that on or around July 5, 2022,the customer received a consumer installment loan from CC Connect, a ******** of ********************** in the amount of $3,000.00.
      Please be advised that ********************** (CCBank) is a **** state-chartered bank with the ************************************* (FDIC) as its primary federal banking regulator. Consequently,CCBank is governed by both federal banking laws and the laws of the *************. SunUp Financial, LLC, d/b/a BalanceCredit.com (Balance Credit) is an authorized servicer for CCBanks CC Connect Loans.
      In the instant complaint, the customer asserts that (1) he notified Balance Credit he was in a federal disaster zone and wanted to explore forbearance options; (2) Balance Credit was only able to double his next payment; and (3) he was unable to speak with a supervisor regarding the matter.
      According to our records, on May 2, 2023, the customer requested a forbearance on his CC Connect loan due to a natural disaster in the state of *******. CC Connect does not provide for forbearance.However, given the customers unique circumstances, arrangements were made on a limited basis to suspend the interest accrual on his CC Connect loan starting May 10, 2023, up until June 10, 2023.
      To the extent the customer claims his payment was doubled, our records confirm that on May 8, 2023, the customer cancelled his payment scheduled for May 10, 2023, and voluntarily agreed to making payments of $907.27 on June 12, 2023, and July 10, 2023, with his normal scheduled payments of $604.86 to resume on August 10, 2023. This arrangement was confirmed verbally by the customer, and a confirmation email was sent to the customer. (Please be advised that, although the customer may not have been speaking to a supervisor, his matter was nonetheless managed by an escalations specialist who is competent in handling such requests by customers.)
      Aside from the aforementioned one-time,limited-circumstance, suspension of interest, this CC Connect loan does not qualify for forbearance, renegotiation, or modification. However, as disclosed in the loan agreement, CC Connect does not charge a pre-payment penalty on this loan and the customer is free to pay off his loan without any additional fees.
      We would like to continue to work with the customer regarding this matter. A member of the Resolution Team will call him within five (5) business days from the date of this letter if he has not already received a call. We trust this information is responsive to the request.

      On 11/10/2022, I took out a loan from Balance Credit for $1800. I was laid off in January and tried my best to keep up with my payments; however, I eventually became 30 days in arrears. I contacted Balance and pleaded with them to settle the account, but the "best" they could offer me was paying $100 bi-weekly towards my past due balance, in addition to my regularly scheduled bi-weekly payment...so, basically, I called for payment assistance and somehow hung up having to pay more. Mind you, I have taken out loans with this company in the past and paid all off successfully. So, fine. I borrow $1500 and make a payment to bring the account more than current on 4/15/23. Balance has it advertised everywhere that they report to the credit bureaus on the 15th of every month. But guess what? Instead of accurately reflecting that I am currently paying on time, they have now reported the account as 90 days late. I would like Balance Credit to accurately report my current status to the credit bureaus. I would like Balance Credit to acknowledge that, to date, I have made a total of $2509.23 on an $1800 loan and would like this account to be reflected as paid and closed. As a repeat customers and someone who lost their job, it would be nice to see this company demonstrate compassion and competency.

      We are in receipt of your consumer complaint against Balance Credit filed with the Better Business Bureau. We take all complaints and have investigated this matter.

      Our records reflect that you applied for and received a personal installment loan from SunUp Financial and that you received funds in the amount of $1,800.00 on or around 11/10/2022. Our records further reflect that on 12/13/2022 the contractual payment for 12/28/2022 was canceled via the online self-service portal and the account became significantly past due.

      Balance Credit will report to the credit agencies once a month on the previous months data. If a payment is made less than the original amount owed, the remaining amount will be added to the total past due balance. Balance Credit will report loans that have a past due balance of thirty days or more on or around the 15th of each month.

      Payment account history is reported to ****************, *********** and in some cases, Factor Trust.Below is the contact information.
