We spent 4 nights in the hotel and the issues became apparent on the first day. When we checked in we had to pay 366$ for the daily membership fees. First of all, why do you have a mandatory fee for staying at the hotel? Anyway, the first morning there we wanted to grab breakfast only to find that breakfast cost 50$ a person. That's when alarm bells rang - what am I paying all this money for if it doesn't include breakfast? We went to the front desk, and they reiterated the fine print of the membership. We get a 25$ e-gift certificate per day at ************** (a website that doesn't inform the users how to redeem credits). That's when I checked the website to register an account for accessing benefits I paid for. GUESS what? The website domain doesn't exist! Why am I paying 366$ for benefits I cannot even access? Now that I was fuming, I asked to speak to the manager. The lady at the front desk told us the manager would be down to see is in 20 minutes. Long story short, we waited and didn't actually speak to the manager. His name is ******* and I will blast his name until I get my money back. Never will I go to this hotel again, and I will shout from the rooftops to prevent others from this scam.

Worst experience at a hotel ever. The guy at the front desk is rude as all get out. You ask any questions and it results in read the sign. The signs don't tell you exactly much of anything about where to go. Was charged more than what the email said too which is bogus. Never going there again! Couldn't even hardly sleep in this place either. Beds hard as a rock and pillow is barely anything at all. Was miserable the entire night there especially with the way the so called manager treats the guests.

This hotel is operated by frauds. Please do not book it. They advertise themselves as a 4 star hotel but (and let me quote the manager *******), they are a "3 star hotel". Why are they allowed to do this without intervention from the proper authorities? There is no food and beverage service. No coffee pot, kettle, tea bags or coffee in the room. No mini fridge. Rude and ******** employees. No staff to help guests with their bags. Not only did I take my bags up myself, I was told in a loud voice to "and please [luggage cart] back!". I inadvertently booked a handicap room which is the reason that the there was no hot water in the shower. They found me a different room but was told that I had to move myself. The night manager said "we are not allowed to touch the guests' belongings". He also stated that the engineer as gone home for the night should I need anything fixed. What if I had been truly handicapped? I cannot dispute the charges because according to my credit card company I had "completed the service". I should have left but ************ wants to charge a $275 cancellation fee. Plus, I am alone in strange city at night. This is the way the hotel preyed on my and other guests' vulnerability. I am not a difficult person and would have forgiven all the deficits had they not try to scam and cheat their guests with hidden charges. There was a $49.95 guest benefit package. Nowhere did it state, in the confirmation or ************'s website, that this was compulsory but it is. Then when I asked about how the $125 deposit charge would be refunded, the receptionist told me that the refund would be given in the form of vouchers for restaurants and tourist attractions and not credited back to my account. Fortunately, they did refund the deposit in the end. I hope that a TV station would expose them or BBB would take action against them.

I am profoundly disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel. While the booking process was smooth, I am concerned about questionable business practices and the unprofessional responses from the business to complaints I've encountered ********* my case, I was affected by harsh carpet cleaning products that severely irritated my asthma, prompting me to check out within 20 minutes of checking in at the front desk. ******* at the front desk was kind and assured me that my incidental fee would be returned immediately and that I could call for my refund the following day. However, despite multiple calls and texts over several days, I received no response until three days later, when I was mistakenly thanked for my stay via text. I contacted Mr. ***** the Director of Operations, who promised to return my call but has since not followed up. It is unacceptable for a hotel to charge me for a three-night stay while refusing to engage with me about my refund. The lack of direct communication and ineffective text message systems raise serious concerns about their operations. I expected better from a four-star establishment and urge them to address these issues to align with the service standards guests deserve.

The Guest Benefit Package is clearly explained in the brochure you received and can also be viewed on our website: ************************************************************************* These discounts NEVER EXPIRE!! and are good in every ***** City in the **** Please make sure you utilize them, or call me with any questions.

If I could write a negative star review I would!! We booked our room on 2/25/24 for a stay on 8/17/24. Upon our arrival to the hotel we found out they cancelled our reservation a week prior with no confirmation or reasoning. After 2 hours on the phone with Priceline this shady hotel un-booked our reservation due to the fact that we paid $165 compared to the nightly fee at $400 a night. Which is illegal and price gouging!! One worker confirmed the manager just went and un-booked peoples reservations. From some conversations we overheard they were allowing people to book if they paid more than their original booking fees. Due to the Cubs game, Bears game and democratic convention we had nowhere to go. We didn’t even have the option for us to pay more (which we would have done then disputed later). There was one lady working at the front desk along with 10 other families that had reservations that were cancelled. I’d highly recommend spending the extra money and staying at the Hilton across the street!!! This place is horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone!

*****: What really happened is this: You booked your reservation some a platform that we do not interface with directly, but rather it goes through another party to get to us. The rate you were given was not a rate that we published, and was invalid. We had no choice but to cancel your Reservation, and a confirmation email was sent to the platform you booked through. Had you booked directly with us, you would have received clear, and concise details about your Reservation instead of going through 2 different sites to get to us. ***, Priceline is not a platform that we deal with directly. Your complaint lies with Priceline.

They canceled our room reservation without notifying us. Their explanation was that they could no longer honor the rate we paid to reserve the hotel room 6 months prior.

Bre: You booked your Reservation through a platform we do not interface with directly but is routed through another platform to get to us. I know it sounds strange, but that is what happened. The rate you were given was not a rate given out by us, and we couldn't honor it. Your complaint lies with the platform you booked through. Had you booked directly with us, you would have not had any problems. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
