    02/10/24 I've been to Stroger's many times, the outcome has always been O.K. and I have had great experiences with the staff... but for over 19 months now I've been given the run around... my condition has upgraded tremendously, and I'm in great pain... I 've been to the emergency room many times in the past year, only to be guided to a specialist that I have yet to see... I went to Loyola's emergency room while awaiting my appointment at Stroger's hospital, but I couldn't get much help there because the specialist there and or the hospital doesn't take Medicaid...i have been scheduled to see the specialist at Strogers 4 to 6 times in the past 5 months... the procedure that I am supposed to undergo involves an oral preparation process and this prep is supposed to be sent to the pharmacist but somehow it never seems to make it... i called there to check on the appointment and the prep was not sent nor has it ever been. which was the reason that I never made it to any of the appointments... I spoke to an admin, and she tried to help, but the appointment i was given was a month or more away... I called multiple times to speak with an Attendant on duty but the operators got nastier and nastier! most hung up the phone on me, some even answered it and set it gown while they went about their business... I could hear birds like canaries in the background, i let phone set there for a while on speaker, I fell asleep after 45 mins... ***** answered! the total time was two hours + passed, i left it off that long to create record of how this operator treated patients... so that the records could reflect the unprofessionalism of the operator should any legal representatives need proof my claim... i was never rude to them although I was in pain and without remedy, I may have gotten upset once but I never used profanity, nor was I disrespectful, all the calls are on record... my efforts to speak with A.O.D was a flop as i was meet be admin's who seemed to be upset that i wanted to speak with A.O.D...

    A nurse named ******** on the 8 floor tried to kick us out of the waiting area because she said the doctors don't run the floor that the nurses do. My mother is days of passing away and it feels to me that this is disrespect and lack of social skills. Was very rude to me and my family. Gave us the run around about our doctors name. Wouldn't let us stay even though we are cleared for the 24 hour policy. There is no reason for this lady to treat us this way.
