I hired Fixer to set up a children's basketball hoop, a service that they offer. I provided information on the hoop that needed assembly (screen shot of the product/sold from Dicks Sporting Goods). I was quoted one person at $129 an hour for 1 to 1.5 hours of estimated work. After coming and working for 45 minutes I was told it was a two person job and they'd return with two workers the next day. The next day the two workers came and I was billed **** hours at $129 an hour (essentially a little over 2 hours of work for 2 people) for a total of $625. I know estimates are not a guarantee but this is wildly out of line for standard work.

According to our records, we processed a $367.00 refund on 4/5, the day after the visit. Thank you.

The company provided oven installation. Fixer (company's representative) told that the Oven does not fit, and the only way to install it is to cut off a part of the cabinet. After a part of the cabinet has been cut off by Fixer and the oven has been installed there is a hole on the top of the oven. There is also small hole in the bottom. Small bottom panel in the oven - is just a cover. It probably will not require to do any cut off at all. But even if Fixer needed to cut off a small part of the cabinet - it anyway should be done less than it has been done to not have ugly hole on the top and on the bottom. Installation manual of the oven does not have a requirements to make any hols. I sent pictures and explanation to the company. My expectation was to get at list an apologize from the company and probably some discount because of not good quality of the work. But the company explained that kitchen cabinet with that new hole is for the best work of the Oven. Such behavior is unacceptable.

With all due respect to this customer, our interpretation of the fix was different from their understanding. We did issue both an apology, and a $290 refund. Our customer service team manager wrote: "I apologize that your first Fixer experience was a disappointment. We strive to take the stress out of home projects and missed the mark ***** We will aim to do better in the future, thank you."

    Complaint: 18463963

I am rejecting this response because:
The response from the business is not about the issue which I submitted.
The issue which I filed is about quality of the work.
The issue which has been described and resolved by the company happened at the very beginning of the assignment.
The company estimated one worker for the work but after the worker arrived told me that such kind of work could be done only by 2 workers and the company sent second worker and tried to charge double price for the work.
After we had a conversation with the company representative they agreed to put discount, as soon as there was incorrect estimation from the companys side.
As soon as this issue has been resolved I did not mentioned it in my submission.
Why the company is trying to use a crest for one resolved issue to cover another not resolved?
Maybe because the have to many issues

    Sincerely,
