I purchased an item by accident from a very dubious online company called CurlMix! They refused to give me a refund! They seem very desperate, for a business to refuse to cancel orders that havent even been shipped yet. And after I had expressed my dissatisfaction, they insist on giving me more crappy product I dont want. Unless the products are not good and they are struggling to sell them and now they are forcing it on to unwilling customers, I need help getting my money back! When my credit company try to dispute they lied and said I didnt cancel it properly!!Initial Complaint

On December 13th 2024, I placed a order and paid *****. On December 18th, I sent an email asking for the status as it did not show as pending, my response was to allow 1-7 business days for them to complete the process. On January 7th, 2025, **** sent an email saying my order is being returned to sender for invalid address. I contacted **** for more information and was told, the sender did not provide an apartment number. The **** supervisor emailed a copy of the shipping label from the sender.The address shown on their webpage is correct, the confirmation email they sent me had the correct address, the shipping label they created, did not have my apartment number listed.I contacted CurlMix this same day by email with the **** attachment to show the label was incorrect. I sent a follow up email on the 9th asking if they had received my email and my resolution.I sent another email January 13th and today, the 14th as I have not heard back from them.I asked them to resend the products with the correct address or refund my money.I have not heard back. I place an order on June 17, 2024, through the Curlmix website. I received a tracking number a few days later. The package was set to be delivered on 6/24/24. However, the package was not delivered on that day. It was marked as undeliverable due to "no access to the delivery location." I was home that day and nothing was blocking my home to prevent the delivery. The rest of my packages were delivered, without issue. I contacted Curlmix and advised them it was not delivered. They told me to reach out to the shipper and initiate a claim with them and refused to help further. I have tried locating the package through ***** but it is still missing. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this review. As a customer of **********************, I have celebrated their success from Shark Tank to Who Wants to be a Millionaire to now their stock investment opportunity. Unfortunately, recently I experienced merchant false advertising and sales fraud which have devastated my support. Their website advertised Buy One Get One Free of their curl mix products and obtain a free serum with $50 purchase. I took pictures of the offers for documentation purposes just to ensure I read all the fine prints. To my displeasure, the order did not include Buy One Get One Free nor the free serum. Instead, I am being fully charged with ZERO free products. Assuming this was a simple mistake to easily be corrected. I reached out to Curl Mix **************** and left 3 voice mail messages on 11/18, 11/19 and 20. Additionally, I followed up with emails to their info email address. To my dismay, all messages were met with condescending responses NOT resolving the issues and basically, telling me there is nothing they can do. As a result, I am:1. Cancelling my existing recurring order membership that I have had for over 3 years. 2. Returning the order placed that was fraudulent in more ways than one. 3. Filing an FTC and ****** of ******** Affairs complaint and 4. Leaving this review. As a fellow woman of color who is super supportive of other underrepresented-business owned merchants, it is disheartening to have made so many attempts as a customer to resolve these issues amicably and only to be met with lack luster responses. Hopefully the owners read this review and care enough to review their internal processes for positive customer experience changes and refund my money.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for Curlmix hair products on August 25, 2023. I saw so many recommendations on ******* and wanted to try the products. It is September 17th and I have not received my shipment. I reached out to customer service email 3 times, only to be told that they are still processing. Then a label was created but the products have not been received by the carrier. I have put in an escalation complaint with my payment. At this point, I just want my money back. I don't care to use the products if this is how the company does business.Customer Answer

I order from them on Aug.2, did not receive the purchase order. Contacted them they said it would be shipped out on 16th, which did not happen. Contacted them again, I told them, I want my money back, $65.31. The response, was that it would be shipped out on the 25th. And they offer a $10 coupon and store credit. They said, they dont do refunds because they can't take back products. My issue , my order was never shipped. I want my refund back of $65.31, I dont ********** credit from a company that i did not receive a order from the first time around. Please help, me get my money back. In June or July of 2022, curlmix advertised a full sized set for $36.40 on Instagram. I placed an order for the product but received the trial size. I made them aware of the mistake in July. At first they just said it was a mistake. I understood, so I requested a refund or the correct product. Instead they sent a code to use worth $80. I was not really impressed with the product so I did not immediately use the code. I tried to use the code for a Christmas gift but was informed that no funds remained. I never used the code nor gave access to anyone. I attempted to contact them in December but they have yet to respond. The fact that this company has no customer service support by phone speaks volumes. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in this company.Initial Complaint

After having used this product I was not satisfied with the results. My hair became extremely dried out and lifeless. It became so dried out that it makes a sound like a brown paper bag being crumbled. The softness has still not returned properly. And it caused a very dull look, not moisturized at all. They insulted me by offering a store credit. I do not want Any of their products in exchange for the money I offered to gladly return the remainder of your product as I have no use for it, unfortunately it's so bad they don't even want it back. This company makes its money by manufacturing an inferior product and keeping the money from dissatisfied consumers. I ordered a kit from this company in July 2022. I paid almost $70 and they repeatedly have not sent my order. First they said that my address was incorrect then they asked if I had another address because what they got they said was wrong dont know how I dont know my address so I went with the address they suggested then they said it came back to them then I just said to send it to my mothers address and still nothing then they said no refunds but I never got the product. I am physically handicapped and on a fixed income. I dont have funds to just give away. I purchased Curl Mix Wash and Go Products for sensitive skin in June 2022. I used the products according to the directions included in the packaging. However, I had to stop using the products after I began to notice an unusual amount of hair shedding during each wash. Prior to using the products, I wore my hair natural, and it hung below my shoulders. Since using the products, I am sorry to report my hair is noticeably thinner and shorter. I have called and written to the company via its customer website to request a refund of $40.14, the amount I paid for the products. I also included my receipt. The company sent me an email dated October 19, issuing me a store credit, instead. I called and wrote to the company, stating the credit was not acceptable because I no longer felt comfortable using their products. The company has not responded. Because of the large file size, I will EMAIL my initial complaint letter and receipt.
