I purchased two **** dollar gift cards on 10/5 from raise website. Both cards were to pay on my *********** and save a little money by purchasing through raise. When I attempted to use gift cards, the Dishey rep said there were invalid. I was so embarrassed and also scared to be out $I96! I need raise to fix this problem asap! This company sells gift cards at a small discounted price. Once I purchased the gift card it was invalid. After reading reviews there were many reviews saying the same thing. This has caused extreme inconvenience. IBusiness Response

21/2022-9/22/2022 I sold 4 Express gift cards (Card IDS: Z5190-4066-9895, Z9557-3186-8290, Z1548-5142-1069, Z3969-1344-3339.) I am due $364.80 They allowed me to sell it but after I sold my gift cards, raise stopped my withdrawl request multiple time through paypal and ACH withdraw process. They are now holding me hostage to provide much more personal information. On their site, they said they needed a phone number and a verified Paypal account for payout, which I've provided. They are now requesting I provide a government ID. I have no interest in providing such an unknown company all of this information. I saw no mention of needing all of this when selling. They shouldn't allow you to post the item unless you provide the info first. I would have never sold with them had I known I needed to provide all this info. I need my money back ($363.80) from the sale of my gift cards at their marketplace.Thanks.Business Response

The paypal account is not in the seller name. A paypal account need to be added with the seller name in order for payment to be sent. Also seller will no longer be able to sell if they do not want to provide a ID.Customer Answer

I had received a message from the business and accidentally clicked this resolution was resolved even though I havent been payed out yet. They responded and asked me to provide my PayPal account under the same name. I would like the case reopened so they can be able to see the message of my PayPal email so I can be payed out. I had a coupon with raise. I applied it to my order and when I went to check out it said I needed to spend more money in order to use so I went back and added a second gift card to my account. When I went the check out the total due showed the amount with the coupon. When I processed the purchase I was charged more than I was supposed to me and the coupon was not used . Raise has refused to help. On top of it all the gift card now shows empty and they are saying we used it when we didn't.Business Response

Case (********) Order ID ********** Date 9/24/22 First time ever trying to buy a gift card my account was deactivated because payment didn't go through. I was explaining why it probably didn't go through because Amex is my new credit card usually the 3 digit security code is on the back but Amex use the 4 security code on the front etc but they said all I needed to do was verify my ID. I gave them my ID and selfie..then later said they not going to reactivate my account. Never gave me a reason or anything. I feel like it some type of scam going on why ask for my ID and say we not gonna reactivated. Everything match my card in my name and gave them a selfie. I never been in a situation why a business ask for my ID, ****** and refuse to reinstate my account I don't understand. I ask them over and over what was the issue no reply they just close my case. I haven't done nothing wrong and it's frustrating because I was recommended to this site and first time purchase I'm ban like some criminal. I didn't get any real help or answer. I purchased a $60 ultra gift card on 9/18/2022 at 9:16pm EST order R615437354 I went to use them immediately and it said the gift card had $0 balance I have screenshots that are 4 mins after purchasing that shows this, Ive purchased 32 gift cards from this place and they say they stand by the one year guarantee but thats not true there crooks, I filed a claim 4 mins after purchasing and they said its not covered under their 1 year money back guarantee, I called up to ulta and they said the account is closed and there no balance no way to check when it was used it was purchased from a third party seller they said they told me to contact raise for assistance and were also really confused why they denied my refund. The person said I need to get a hand written letter by a ulta saying theres a issue with this card like what theres a issue it has zero balance check it and that shouldnt be my job there the ones who sold it, they said because it had money when raise purchased from the seller its not covered like what?? Did they ever think that maybe the seller used the card after selling. I purchase a lot from them for them to treat me like a first time customer the day before I purchased a $60 ulta card and it worked fine. I literally was only going to save $3.34 on this card never again Ill pay the full price from now on saving a few bucks isnt worth this trouble, I will be filing chargebacks with my bank aswell.Business Response

I purchased a WestElm gift card from Raise.com (order number R166661982). But the gift card is not useable, I contacted Raise.com but they never respond to my email even though I sent multiple follow-up emails. On 09/30/2021, Raise.com asked me to share a screenshot, I responded on 10/03/2021, and responded again on 10/05/2021, again on 10/29/2021, and again on 11/18/2021. I purchased a Wayfair gift card on this website, but the dollar amount is not what I purchased (I purchased one for $230.80, but received a gift card for only $136.53), I consider this as fraud.And when I tried to contact Raise support, they sent me an email and I replied with all details, but they just ignored it and closed my inquiry saying they didn't receive anything, I attached two screenshots here from Gmail: the first one is when I replied (on 2022-09-25), second is when they closed my inquiry (on 2022-09-26). We purchased a gift certificate for $1999,00 for Royal Caribbean Cruise to use for our family of five to take a cruise starting on October 3, 2022.
