June 2 2025 198.98$I have absolutely no idea what this transaction was for. Mepco ********** is the merchant and I have not asked for any service from a merchant for that amount and would like a full refund and no further association with the company.

I started a home warranty agreement with Hauzr Home Services/Home Assure/***** with the idea that they would provide peace of mind for my appliances and systems in my house, and they managed to convince me that this deal was absolutely necessary. I realized too late how high my payments were ($389.89 a month), so I began to panic how I was going to be able to afford this. I called numerous times to cease my contract because I did not have any interest in this service because it essentially was a waste of my money. Despite my attempts to cancel the contract, the people working for this company tried everything in their power to prevent me from doing so. They guilt tripped me by saying what would I do without them, they tried to convince me this service was a must-have, and told me they would bring down my payment to $229.29. I wasnt happy with this because I still am stuck with the contract, but for the time being it was a little better. For three months now Ive been paying the bill but I just recently received a statement claiming that Ive not been paying my bills for the last 2 months, which is a flat out lie because I have provided pictures of my bank statements (through their payment system Mepco) that prove that I have paid them. Now they have doubled my charge to $458.58, which is absurdly high. I want nothing more then to end this contract and get my money back. They have been robbing me from the beginning but I have really lost my patience after this drastic increase in the bill.

In April 2025, my husband and I received mail from "Home Warranty Services". I attached a photo of the letter. My husband and I had purchased a home a month prior and assumed this letter was from our warranty provided by the builder. We called the company and they stated that our warranty was not active and we needed to pay a $200 activation fee. They then stated that it would be $200 for the two yeas and then one year free. We were never told anything of the sort regarding a monthly payment. A month later, we receive an additional $200 charge. We labeled this as fraud, having no idea as to why this was occurring. We then figured out that this company was charging us $200 a month. We called for clarification and they stated that they told us it was $200 a month, which was not true in the slightest. We told them that we wanted to cancel whatever policy they had. They said no problem. We then received a phone call a few days later saying that we still had to pay the $200. We were under the impression that they canceled the policy. They then stated that they can't cancel the policy until we pay the May charge, which we refuse to do. The man started getting angry with us over the phone, trying to sales pitch us in the middle of this heated conversation. We told him that we did not want their services and that we are not paying them another month. We then received a payment notice, stating that our payment was late. On the notice, it stated that the company name was Hauzr Home Services? This was not the same name that was on the initial letter that they sent us. This company is a misleading, baiting, deceptive company that should be shut down.

Shortly after buying a new home in early October, I received the attached "Time sensitive" letter from Home Warranty Services. I was expecting a referral from our seller and thought this was it. I called the number on the letter, ************ and spoke to a sales person. I was offered a home services warranty for 3 years for the price of 1. No mention of ***eat payments which others have mentioned. I gave my credit card details but never received a contract. I called the number shown on my credit card statement and listened to a recorded message saying "if you are over 50, press 2 for a free medical device". No one ever answered. Next I received an email from Paylink Direct welcoming me to Hauzr Home Services. I checked up on this company and found no website or other information except an exact duplicate letter on a Oregon website about this scam company, but ***************************. I then disputed the charge with my credit card company. Next I contacted ************** and referred this problem to them. ******* responded with a 2nd letter saying they blocked all future payments to Hauzr. Last I called all 3 phone numbers I had for this company. The only one that actually went through is ************. I told the **************** *** that I was misled, never received a contract, and found an Oregon website with the identical letter ***orting the company as a scam. I told him to immediately cancel my contract and refund my $389.89. He first said "no problem", then began defending the company and aggressively challenging me. No resolution. I have also filed a complaint with the *** and disputed the charge with my credit card company. This company operates under different names: Home Warranty Services, HWS Activation, Home Warranty **************** Assure Warranty.

I just purchased a new home (newly built) and kept receiving mail in my mailbox to call this number in order to set up my home warranty. I called them to set it up and they quoted me $409.09 to cover my home for 3 years. It sounded too good to be true, but they assured me this was all I would pay for premium wise. I was charged on my credit card, and a fraud warning came up. I told the sales *** over the phone that this just came up and then I approved it so that it went through. I was told I would receive paperwork in a few weeks regarding my policy and coverage. Then they proceeded to tell me that my policy would renew next month. It was so confusing to me, but I told them I only want 1 charge for the 3 year period. They assured me this was all they would charge. Then, in the mail I received a notice the PayLink Direct will process my payments and my "installment amount" that will be paid monthly is $409.09. Monthly! Not annually or for the 3 years. I called the number on this notice and complained and just cancelled my service after 1 week. They tried to tell me they can reduce my monthly payment to $148 and I just told them to cancel everything immediately and I want a full refund as this is deceptive marketing. They only tried to refund me $220 but I told them I want the full refund. I'm still awaiting my full refund.

Subject: Report of Deceptive Business Practices by Hauzr Home Services LLC To Whom It May Concern:Im reporting a misleading interaction with Hauzr Home Services LLC. I received a letter claiming to be from ************ Home Warranty Services, ********************** and warning that it was my last chance to renew my home warranty. Believing it was from my home warranty provider affiliated with my builder, I called the number provided. The representative misled me into thinking they were linked to my builder and lender. They requested my name, birth date, drivers license number, Social Security number, and bank account details, stating the cost was $389/year for a three-year term. They pressured me into agreeing by saying, Please confirm with yes or no, which I did. They did not disclose that they were from Hauzr Home Services LLC, and not my existing provider. After realizing it was not my legitimate provider, I changed all my account information. They are now using ******* Direct to try to collect payment and have been persistently calling and sending letters to obtain my bank details.Their misleading tactics created a false sense of urgency and could be affecting other consumers. I request an investigation into Hauzr Home Services LLC and their partner, ******* Direct, for potential consumer fraud and deceptive practices. Please let me know if further details are needed.Sincerely,***** ****** This version keeps all the critical details but is shortened to fit your requirement. Let me know if it works!

We purchased a home warranty. They told us we would pay $389.89 and would be covered for 2 years ending on October 7, 2027. We just bought our house in July 2024 and already had a 1 year policy. I got a letter today stating that they would take $389.89 every month beginning October 7, 2024. Our contract # is HAS130115203. I called them at ************ and TJ answered. He was very rude and arrogant when I stated that I was not going to pay every month and I wanted to cancel this policy. He said I think you are making a mistake and I said no Im not can I speak to your supervisor. He said I am the supervisor. I then asked him what is your last name and he said my name is ** . Im not giving you my personal information. I again asked who his boss was and he said the president of the company and I again asked for his number and he said I cant give that to you. He said he refunded my money back to my account but it will take a few days. This company is very shady and is giving false information.

I purchased a home warranty this August on the 9th from this company and was told I would pay a one time fee of $389.89 and that would insure me up to $15,000 in ***airs (along with a $75 fee per call) for one year, I also apparently had some sort of promotion where I got an extra 2 years for free. I paid the money figuring that it was in line with market standards after comparing prices with other companies like ******************** so I paid the money. My bank triggered a fraud alert and I allowed it, this caused the transaction to go through a day later on the 10th. A few weeks later (I want to say the last week of August) I got a letter saying I was about to be billed the $389.89 again and left a phone number for me to call. I called and the ***resentative over the phone told me it was automatically sent because the first payment failed to go through twice but he could see that it went through on the third time and to not worry and just discard the letter that I would not be billed again. Today on the 9th I was billed again for $389.89 so I instantly called the company ******* who I explained the situation to and they said they only were given the role of receiving the payments but would transfer me to the company. I got on the line with a ***resentative and told him my situation. He begins telling me that he sees both of my payments have gone through and tells me and that Im actually on a subscription plan for $389.89 monthly. I explain that thats an outrageous price and that I was lied to when the original ***resentative was selling the warranty to me so he says hes going to put me on hold and call his boss. The ***resentative comes back and says he can drop my payments to somewhere around $158 monthly to which I tell him thats still not the agreed upon price and I would like a refund. The *** then asked me if I cant afford a home warranty how will I afford ***airs. I asked if they would refund again and they said no. So I hung up and alerted the bank
