Where do I begin?OMG! This funeral home ROBBED my children of $495.. yes, I said ROBBED! Their Father died on 9/25/24 @ 5:00 am @ *******************************, we live in ************, Mind you, we don't know anyone in that State. The facility said we would have 4 hours after he expire to find a funeral home to pick him up, other wise he'll be turned over to the State of ********. After the initial news of his passing, my children began googling and trying to find a **, and had a lot of " I'll have someone call you back". My son called the crooks of Leaks and spoke to a gentleman who told him he could work out payment arrangments with him for their dad because he advised they didn't have insurance and that the cost would be out of pocket for a direct cremation and was needing the lowest cost possible. He spoke to a lady there that pretended to care, she turned out to be the rudest and worse person in the world to talk too.they picked him up without my children's signature the ** called them and no one called my children to let them know they were there and what the charge would be to pick him up. They could've advised them NOT to pick him up had they told them that. They located a ** that was kind, and very accommodating to their needs, they sent a Docusign for the pick up of their Father and offered a virtual meeting for the paperwork because they are in *****, Leaks said they couldn't do that and asked if they could FAX them the release form? My son said no, I don't have a fax, they also said they needed a representative to go in for them because they're in another State after they've stated they don't know anyone there. They were RUDE and kept placing them on hold for over 15 and 20 minutes after losing their Father it was a nightmare, they had no regards to what they were going through. NP EMPATHY or CONCERN that he said they didn't have the money!!!! THEY ARE THIEVES ************** CEMETERY AND FUNERAL HOME ASSOCIATION HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED!!!!

Reached out to *********** Funeral Home for my father's repatriation from ****, ****. My sister and I, as next of kin, sought their assistance to bring his remains back to the U.S. and arrange his cremation. I provided *********** with the necessary paperwork and identification, clarifying that I was the authorized person for these arrangements. However, once they learned my father's insurance beneficiaries were his mother and siblings, the funeral director stopped communicating with me and began coordinating with the beneficiaries instead. My complaints are as follows: 1. Failure to Communicate: After submitting my completed paperwork and personal identification to ***********, I received no follow-up or communication for an entire week. Despite my efforts to get a quote and sign a contract, the funeral home did not provide any information or updates. 2. Unauthorized Sharing of Personal Information: Without my authorization or notification, *********** forwarded my personal information to their Peruvian funeral home partner. I was only made aware of this when the funeral home in **** contacted me to verify if they should proceed based on the original paperwork I submitted. This breach of privacy is unacceptable and unprofessional. 3. Unprofessional Conduct: When I contacted one of the owners, *****, regarding these issues, I was met with a defensive and dismissive attitude. Despite ****** assurances that my information had only been shared with their funeral partner, I have not received any follow-up email confirming this or a forwarded copy of what was sent. I suspect that my estranged family members may have been copied on the email containing my personal information, which raises serious concerns about privacy and data protection. The experience with *********** has been marked by unprofessionalism and disregard for privacy.

So my brother died March 5 of 2024 Sounds funeral home was contacted by me I believe around March either 10 or 13. This funeral home is the most disrespectful funeral home I have ever experienced in my life of living not only did they illegally do three huge things They gave away my brothers ashes to a woman who was not married to him. She did not have a ring anything of that nature. She had no legal rights to have my brothers ashes and now she is refusing to give it to our family so we can properly lay my brothers to rest. Due to this funeral home, they have caused my family, more grief and pain. Please do not utilize this funeral home. They told me I can have my money back they gave my brothers death certificate to a man who had no legal rights to him. Now that woman and his baby mother that was on the outs with our family things that she can cash in a life insurance policy because he received the death certificate from his father, who had no legal rights to him my grandmother legally adopted him we show paperwork i sign for his ashes. But they do not call me. We do not even have a copy of his death certificate, but they gave to tour illegal person that has no rights to my brother. They gave his ashes to a woman who has no legal rights to him now we cannot get my brothers ashes back from this woman as of May. The ninth of 2020 for his funeral was April 5 of 2024 with these people they have been nothing more but rude and disrespectful. I cannot preach enough do not use this business.

The worst experience of my life! This has to be the worst place to go to and try to lay your loved one to rest! Not only did they neglected to follow the law that they screamed down our throats but they are flat out rude and disgusting and disrespectful! They gave my brothers death certificate to a man that gave up their rights and did not give it to the legal adoptive parents! They gave my brother ashes to a woman who said she was his fianc no marriage license they knew she had no rights to my brother ashes when I SIGNED FOR THEM! They called her and she refuses to give them to his family. She is using the death certificate to obtain a fraudulent life insurance policy thanks to them she might be able to cash in due to their negligence!
