I was approved for a crown on my front smiley tooth through my county care insurance. I went in on my scheduled appointment to get the crown started which was a two day visit. The dentist I saw this day (*****************) made it his business to tell me he was the owner of ALL STAR DENTAL CLINIC. I didnt know why he felt the need to inform me of that but I would later learn as my visit continued why he made this a point. ***************** was not focused on what I was in the clinic for but a way to make money for himself. He noticed that my back wisdom teeth was no longer in my mouth and immediately he said you should get a partial for your upper teeth to help you chew better in the back of your mouth. I said well, is it covered by my county care insurance? ***************** replied NO and it cost ***** to do just the top. I said well I want to focus on getting my crown done for my smiley tooth. ***************** stated you spent $600 at the ************************ to get a retreat on the tooth you are having crowned so you can spend ***** to get a partial to support the back of your mouth to chew better. I replied this is not what my appointment is for. ***************** instantly became intimidating and a bully. ***************** refused to do my crown in-spite of receiving an approval. ***************** went on to say you mainly need them for the top so pay half $750 on a top mouth partial and then I will start having it made and then I will start on your crown, which takes two visits. I trusted him and paid the $750 and allowed him to make the impression to make me a top mouth partial only to what he said would make chewing better. Ok, now once the impressions was made and was going to be sent out to start being made. ***************** has refused to do my crown and is pretty much intimidating and bullying me into waiting for the work he wants me to pay for out of pocket is done. I am devastated at what is happening. ***************** is a bully and intimidated me into spending money at his dentist. HELP!
