    I applied for a loan for gutter covers for my home. I financed the $5636 loan with Castle Credit. The loan was interest-free if paid off before June 1. I paid off my loan with Castle Credit. I made sure the payment was mailed and received before the due date of June 1. They held my payment, cashed it a day late, and charged me $688.51 in interest. I want the interest charge removed.

    *****% APR is normal taking advantage of credit problems but requiring people to pay full finance charges in even for early payoff of loan is a crime. $3,800 ended up being $12k+ and tried to pay off early with 74 payments left and was told I have to still pay off what would be the remaining APR/Finance Charge for the life of the loan of 6k. Even though it explains in the contract you won't be penalized for early payoff, you WILL. They are literally penalizing you for early payoff by running a Interest Charges scam.

    I am rejecting this response because: The response does not give a payoff amount without interest for remainder of payments. When I called the office to pay the remaining balance in full I was given the amount which included the interest up to the last payment not the amount if interest was removed for the remaining payments. I was told I must pay the remaining balance which included the purchase price and full APR of over 8k dollar that would only be the early payoff amount if I was paying for the interest through to the end of the payment plan not paying the loan off in full prior to the end of the loan. The company is trying to make my payoff amount the same as the amount I would pay if I continues to finance over the next few years instead of paying off early.

    In November of 2023, I entered a 12 month no interest contract with Castle Credit in the amount of $6,649.00 for home improvements. Initially, my first monthly payment of $138.98 was due on or around the *************************** December. Within one or two days following completion of the contract paper work was contacted and informed of a change in the organizations accounting division and my first payment was pushed to January of 2024. I made every payment as per my contract including a final balloon on November of 2024. I was notified that the full interest for not paying off my loan in time was due to 5 missed payments from January to May of 2024. I disputed this and was informed that when the company switched to a new accounting firm some payments were missed and i was asked to submit proof of payments. I did this however because the document I furnished was not from my bank it was not accepted. I quickly contacted my bank and re-submitted the official documents. I am now being told I owe between $700 and $1300 in interest because I didn't make the initial December 2023 payment. I have actually paid $6,779.04 because I was on an autopay and an additional payment was taken out of my account following the balloon payment made on November 30. For completeness sake the balloon payment was made on Saturday November as per the contract. The website would not allow a credit/debit payment only checking account. The payment was made as per the contract however the funds were not received until December 3. I was told this was not a problem. I have been calling at least once a month and every time I get a different story from a representative all saying they will submit a expedited investigation ticket. I have not received any correspondence from anyone in this company.

    Not resolved. Company continues to claim this issue has been sent for review however no one can give me any answers and I continue to get phone calls claiming delinquency. It is not until I request the individual examine my account correspondence that the representative apologizes and tells me t disregard and wait for notification of resolution.

    My account was transferred last year. I have made monthly payments of $371.00 to pay off the balance as quickly as possible. The amount is being charged but not added to my balance. I have called multiple times and made complaints, and requests that my payments show on the balance. I have requested a Formal Payoff Letter from the company multiple times and have not received it. I do not get a call or response when asked to speak to a supervisor. I have yet to receive my payoff letter or any response from them. I have several referenced tickets: *******, *******, *******. I would like my payments to be processed and my account to be closed as paid in full. I cannot continue calling and cannot remain with this account opened. It is affecting me financially as well as mentally unsettling Every time I have to call!

    The amount transferred to this company was just under $2000. How is it after a year of over payments I still owe $1900?

    Back in 2019, I became delinquent on an account with *********************************************. The account was sent to collections. I set up a payment plan to continue making payments to honor my obligation. I paid off the account total of $5,476 in May of 2021 and my credit was reported as "Paid, Closed. $6,453 written off." However, each year my credit report updates with another delinquency **** for the months of May and June--thus effectively renewing the amount of time that an account is delinquent in my credit history back to 2 years. This is unacceptable as I have paid my entire account and have done no further business with this company since paying for this account in full. The effects on my credit have been detrimental--costing me thousands more in interest and soiling my credit score. I request that this account be correctly reported by the business.

You can view the attached screenshots of my account with ********************************************* and see that my account was paid in full of May 2021, yet the account was reported in charge off status May and June of 2022.
