    My son attended East West University but was unable to complete his program. Despite maintaining good grades, he had to discontinue his studies due to unforeseen circumstances, leaving him with a debt of $4,800. Earlier this year, he reached out to inquire about obtaining his transcripts and was informed about the outstanding balance, which he acknowledged. Mr. ***** ******* the Financial Aid Director at East West University, advised him that a cash payment of $1,500 would be required to initiate the process, and that he was not permitted to pay the full amount using a credit card. I found that very interesting that he was told that he was not able to pay the full amount by credit card. I found it quite intriguing that he was informed he couldnt pay the full amount using a credit card. I then explained to my son that I would help him obtain his transcripts, but I wanted to call myself to understand why a cash payment was required first when we had a credit card available. I reached out two weeks ago and spoke with Ms. **** the financial aid advisor, who was pleasant and reiterated the debt, which we acknowledge. I mentioned the conversation with Mr. ****** and inquired if I could simply use my credit card for the payment. She indicated that I would need to discuss this with Mr. ****** since part of the payment had to be made in cash. I have some concerns after examining the payment policies of East West University. Upon a thorough review, I noticed that this particular information is not addressed anywhere. I would appreciate access to the written policy stating that a cash payment is required by East West University and that a credit card cannot be utilized for full tuition payment.
