    On June 18th 2023 I went into the dtlr on *************************************************************************** to purchase my father some shoes for fathers day as a surprise. After determining my father could not fit the shoes I went back to the store location less than a hour later to try and exchange the shoes and the manager informed me that they didn't have the size I requested. So I was going to go next door to purchase the same shoes in which they had the size then I was informed I could not get a cash refund only store credit. I asked the manager why there was no signage posted with this information and that I literally just made the purchase. I was advised to contact customer service and when I contacted them they reverted me back to the store. I then made an attempt to contact DTLR incorporated and was met with a voice mail box that was full and the automated system ended the call. I am a father of 4 and just spent some of my savings to give my father a surprise and ended up with $231 worth of clothing thats been sitting on my couch. If I would have know I couldn't return the clothing I would have never made a purchase I eventually got the shoes for my father which left me with a loss of $231 due to DTLR not allowing me to swap the shoes and or giving me my money back I've never seen a company with such a return policy and I would like to have my refund reverted back to my bank account due to the clothing being useless due to no one being able to fit the shoes I was only met with the no cash refunds after the purchase on the recipt and didn't even see it until I went to return they merchandise
