    **** R operating as TIME KEEPERS CLOCK REPAIR came to our home on 3/26/2025 in regard to a grandfather clock repair. He took part of the clock and a check from us for $620. He offered to repair or replace the clock part that was not working. It has now been over 3 months and we have not heard from him. We have called and left a message for him several times, but he does not return our calls. We are out not only the $620 but also the clock is now missing parts.

    APRIL 18,2023 I CALLED ABOUT GETTING MY WIFES GRANDFATHERS CLOCK FIX. **** RANDOLPH CAME OVER AND SAID THE MEHANICAL PARTS HAD TO BE REPLACE AND HE HAD TO TAKE IT TO HIS SHOP.HE HAD TO ORDER A WHOLE NEW UNIT.IPAID HIM $ ****** FOR THE NEW UNIT AND SERVICE CALL . ON MAY23 ***** HE CALLED AND SAID HE NEEDSTHE WEIGHTS AND PENDULUM . HE ORDERED NEW WEIGHTS HE CAME OVER HE NEEDED $ ****** for the new weights. I GAVE HIM A CHECK . I GAVE CALLS AFTER THIS WITH NO RESPONSE. FINALLY HE DID RESPONDED BUT ONLY BY TEXT MESSAGES. HE MADE SEVERAL APPOINTMENTS TO RETURN THE PARTS AND FIX THE CLOCK BUT CANCELLED FOR DIFFERENT RESONS OR NEVER SHOWED UP. THIS GRANDFATHERS CLOCK WAS MY WIFES PARENTS CLOCK ITS A SENTIMENTAL PIECE.

    Name: E. Randolph, Additional Phone # ************* Date of Transaction: Friday, January 27, 2023 Amount Paid: $225 Invoice No. ****** (attached)There was an ad in our local paper "The Northwest ************** which ran 4 or 5 times (attached). It looked legitimate. I called and left a message and E. Randolph called me back. I was told on the phone it would cost $125 to which I agreed. E. Randolph took my entire clock apart and told me it needed a part (Kieninger movement) and informed me it would cost $450. He said he needed half of that amount for a deposit. He took my entire clock guts/movement parts along with the pendulum. The business committed to make repairs on my ****** ****** Grandfather Clock Movement Parts and return in 2 weeks to install and fix. It's been over a month and I have called 4-5 times, left several messages and he has never answered my calls or responded to any of my messages. The business or E. Randolph has not made any attempt to resolve this problem. I would like my clock parts back. Please.

    In regards to this complaint,  I have been very sick with Covid since February 17th and have not gotten any better. I did not return her phone calls because the office has been closed but I do intend on returning her clock parts in the next 2 weeks. If I get sick there is no one to handle the phone calls or to help me with the business. I did not intend do steal her clock or her money I have just been very very sick and was hospitalized for 3 days after I tested positive for Covid.

    I am rejecting this response because: My husband and I prefer to meet you at the *********************************** parking lot, ***********************************************************, on Friday, March 24, 10 am. 

    We ask the return of our grandfather clock parts: pendulum, movement and the small part as well, these parts were in zip lock bags. No questions asked.  We do not want you to return to our home

    in ******* to finish the repair. No further action will be taken if the clock parts are returned. You may keep the $225 deposit for your trip to *******. I am sorry for your illness and hope you are feeling

    On 10-30-21 **** came to our home to fix our grandfather clock. He stated that he need to take it apart as he need to order the parts for the clock. on 12-16-21 claimed that he had a tumor and had covid shipping problems. On 1-24-22 stated that he was having distribution problems.3-23-22 stated not to much longer.5-13-22 stated that he fell and hurt his shoulder. 8-22-22 stated that he had major surgery as he was diagnosed with cancer, 11-28-22 stated that by Xmas we would have our clock. To this date we have not heard a word from him as to if he has our parts or when he will bring it. I fell that he took our parts for another client and is just stringing us along. I need to know how I can solve this problem and bottom line want my clock back that we have had since ****. I will also be going to the police to report this as a theft and report him to the newspaper he advertised his services. thank you for your time in this matter.
