in 2017 I purchased a Timbertech decking by **** for my from porch and had it installed. I purchsed this product because of their warranty agaist color fadding.2021, I noiced a little fadding and by 2022 there was a lot and by early 2023 the product had actually turned gray is color. Original product color from their Tropical collection Antique Plam was a brown on the darker side with silulated wood grain. I contacted ********** and discussed this issue and after several conversations, pictures and sending a sample back to them for testing they agreed to refund my original purchase price. (yes I supplied receipts) Here is the rub, they only would refund the orginal perchase pice not the labor to remove and reinstall the new product. The product has of course increased in price since 2017 so along with the labor I will be approx $3000. Out of pocket. After protecing and getting nowhere I agreed to except their terms by sighneing a release based on purchase price refund. After thinking about this i am angree and just dont think it is fair. They know the product was defective. They sent me a check for the original purchase price but I have not cashed it. I hope you can help me recover my out of pocket.
