1 starMy mother got scammed by Home Shield USA who uses MEPCO as their servicer. I have tried numerous times to contact both MEPCO and Home Shield *** to cancel whatever they sold her and they will NOT cancel ANYTHING until they get payment but could not tell me what they were charging her for. Very, very rude and actually hung up on me. Bank also contacted them and they answered the phone with "hello". THIS COMPANY AND HOME SHIELD USA ARE SCAMMERS!!!! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO STOP THEM FROM HARRASSING THE ELDERLY WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE BEING TOLD.Mepco

1 starI would leave zero stars if I could. They talked my 85 year old dad into buying policy and then when we tried to call to cancel the policy, the customer ********************** *** was extremely rude. She told me that she canceled the account and refunded, but instead, she took out another payment. When I called back today, the customer ********************** *** told me that his account was canceled and that it showed that he was refunded. We went to our bank and it was NOT refunded. Instead, they took out another payment. We have been lied to and they took advantage of a elderly person. SHAME ON THEM!!!Mepco

1 starMepco is also harassing and won't leave me alone. the day I was called I was sick and medicated heavily. they took advantage, I don't even know what they are trying to get me to buy. They alrnumbeready have quite bit of money of mine. I want it back. they need to be stopped.. I am a senior citizen on medicare and medicaid. 1 starWould leave zero if possible. Will not allow us to cancel our account. Claim we used the wrong phone number, then claimed power of attorney cant cancel, then claimed policy holder couldnt cancel. What a scam! Told we’d be called back in days to verify if the policy holder, who already spoke to them, could confirm cancelation. Worst company and customer service.Review fromkathleen r

1 starScammers. I have called multiple times about a policy they tried to sell my mother who suffers from dementia. After waiting 45 minutes on hold for the number listed on the mail they send her once a week i was told they were only customer service and i needed to call billing at eight four four two nine zero three eight zero four. They had blocked my parents home line so I ended up calling from my personal cell where someone answered "hello" I asked if this was MEPCO and he said yes but you must be looking for customer service. I said no CS gave me this number and after a few back and forths he goes "well customer service is closed to day (Monday, June 30) call back tomorrow" and hung up. This company is awful, they pretend like they're just the "payments" version but it is all one giant scam, going after the elderly through direct mail, selling them warranties on information they've obtained through banks and attempting to represent themselves as the banks for vulnerable unsuspecting senior citizens. 1 starAM NOT SATISFIED WITH MEPCO WHEN THEY KEPT CALLING ME EVERYDAY WANTING TO GET THEIR POLICY MY HUSBAND WOULD TELL THEM NO AND HANG UP! THE *** ****** ********* CALLED AGAIN AND SHE SAID THE IT WOULD COVER EVERYTHING FROM TRANSMISSION, ENGINE ETC BUT WITH RECIEVING THE POLICY IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY OF THAT COVERED,HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE BY PHONE BUT I AM ON HOLD FOR A VERY LONG TIME! WOULD TRY ANOTHER EXTENSION BUT THE *** WOULD SEND ME BACK TO CANCELATION AND AGAIN I WOULD BE ON HOLD! When I tried to cancel my policy they outright refused to comply until I threatened legal action. Call to make a claim on my vehicle and I was told my policy has started over and I couldn't make a claim until 1000 miles from the time my policy restarted.Mepco
