      I took my 2007 ********** Touareg to Aztek Auto Repair for service around April 25th, 2022 regarding a warning light that appeared on the vehicle. On May 6th 2022, my wife arrived to pick up the vehicle after service. She was asked to pay $900.41 for the service and to collect the vehicle. Upon starting the vehicle, my wife noticed the warning light intended to be serviced was still displayed on the vehicle's dashboard. She was asked to leave the vehicle for further service. Some time passed and a rep. of ******************** auto called me to inform me my vehicle no longer started or ran after being serviced. This was a shock to me as the vehicle did not have this issue before the service. After this call, communication with the shop was very minimal. I would call multiple times a week for updates in regards to my vehicle and would rarely get an answer or call back. If they were to communicate with me, the shop's rep. would vaguely update me on the matter but would ask if I wanted to pick up the vehicle as is. I declined to pick up the vehicle as it is no longer functional due to actions committed by the shop. Sometime later, ******************** Auto relayed to me that they had taken the vehicle to another shop for service, but they too were unsuccessful at resolving the issue and potentially made the issue worse as stated by the rep. ******************** Auto said they had no choice but to take the vehicle to a ********** dealership in an attempt to resolve the issue. After some time, they would no longer fund the service being conducted by the ********** dealership and would instead continue to attempt to resolve the issue themselves. I asked if they would be willing to purchase the vehicle from me as a way to settle the matter since they have had the vehicle for months with no resolution. The shop owner declined my offer and insists on fixing it but have yet to see any changes as of Nov. 29th 2022. I need my vehicle for my family but the shop has neglected to properly service my vehicle for months.

      We are currently waiting on another computer to program and install. Unfortunately we had issue with the vehicle and have communicated with ************* about these problems. ************** has gave us til January 15TH to repair his vehicle. ************** has been more than patient with us and are expecting to have his vehicle ready on or before that date. We have offer ************** a car to use but he did refuse. We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we will resolve his issue by his deadline date.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I am rejecting this response because it is the same response I have gotten from them previously. I call and ask for the status of my vehicle and they always say they will have it within a week or two but they have yet to prove it or do so. They have already given me multiple dates before claiming they will have the vehicle fixed but the day comes and they have another excuse. This is exactly what has been going on for last YEAR and they do not provide any guarantees that they are working on it or will have the job done by their set time frame. I would prefer they pay me the value of the vehicle instead of leading me on. I can almost ensure you they will not have it done by their set time frame but if they do, it will be a pleasant surprise and I will more than happily accept their response if this is true.
