My Vehicle was in an auto accident April 18th 2022 & and subsequently sent to Richards for repairs. These said repairs took an extended period over 18 months. My insurance company ******* ************************ had been corresponding to my knowledge. Richards told my Fianc who had been the main contact for them that the vehicle was finally completed. The last process was Richards sending the vehicle to Northfield Landrover to be reprogrammed and fix a battery issue. Again to my knowledge Richards and Gieco had been in contact with each other because this is usually the process when dealing with insurance and getting parts paid for and approved to worked on. My insurance agreed to every part and labor issue up until the decision to send the Vehicle to Land Rover. Land ************* ******************* stated that Richards Manager **** gave them (Land Rover) the ok to do the service that was need in order for the vehicle to be completed. ***** Reached out to Landrover after my Fianc Called them Im sure all those calls were recorded, The Supervisor over the Claim **************** ***** spoke with *** to confirm Charges and services when he was told by *** that the parts that were replaced had nothing to do with the accident to his knowledge. During this process Naan Told my Fianc ****** that Gieco would cover the repairs because their adjuster Gave Land Rover the ok to move forward and fix the issues. I found out that wasnt true Geico Never told *** and Land Rover to move forward in fact *********, *** said that Richards Autobody Naan gave the ok to fix it. Geico isnt covering the parts And Labor The balance is $5300. I never signed anything to even have Richards Repair anything, during this process the insured party doesnt have a say so on what parts are ok to fix or not. Once we confronted Richards Shop Manager **** he stated that hey ok we will pay for some of the parts but not all of it! Still leaving me with a balance that me nor my insurance company approved to be fixed!
