    I can't say enough good things about ****** *******-****, the amazing owner and founder of Brilliant Solutions Group, Inc. I've been relying on her for all my bookkeeping and accounting needs since 2017. After 8 years, I'm still blown away by the personal touch she brings to managing my business affairs. Her customer service truly stands out! As a busy business owner, I often find it hard to fit meetings or calls into regular business hours. That's why I really appreciate that Mariko is always willing to meet with me after hours, usually in the evenings when I can actually focus on the task at hand. She always says, just call me tonight when you're free, and that means a lot to me. There have been countless times I've gotten so wrapped up in the whirlwind of running my business that I've completely lost sight of deadlines or essential information that needs to be submitted. Thankfully, Mariko is always there with a friendly reminder or helpful nudge to keep me on track. It's reassuring to know I have a professional team behind me. With her decades of experience in accounting, Mariko is not just a bookkeeper; she's an invaluable tax and business strategist who has helped me tremendously over the years. It's easy to see why she was named Pro-Advisor of the Year in 2021 by Insightful Accountant. I couldn't ask for a better partner in my business journey!

    Due to this business, I have been unable to finalize my tax deficiency with the **** That with the exorbitant fee she charges has put me under financial stress. I clearly summarized my history and concerns. I feel I have been scammed because she provided me with the assurance of her competency. Summary of Events: Following the passing of my marvelous bookkeeper, I unsuccessfully dealt with using my QuickBooks application. On October 23, 2024, I engaged Ms. ************ after making my first contact four years prior. I signed an engagement letter and sent my deposit of ******** on 01/16/2025. I engaged this *** to provide ************************* Consulting - Accounting Xero Cash Book (Xero) Migration and ************** for Rental Properties, and book clean-up assistance. Complete Individual Tax filings. Describe the service: tax filing, accounting, audit, etc. Her fee was $8,000, which I paid 50%. She has requested the balance without correctly completing my taxes! I have been forced to hire another *** to see where I stand with the ***. Note: The returns filed by her are not accurate. The *** I hired to investigate and others I spoke to mirrored that fact. I am retired with health concerns. I reside primarily outside of the US so correcting this situation is time consuming and difficult. Over the course of this year, I reached out to Ms. ************ addressing these issues, but she deflected the root cause and failed to correct them / denied fault and placed the responsibility on me to correct them. Her response to my inquiry: I prepared your returns and delivered them to you. actually, my obligation is to prepare the return and e-file those returns. if it is not e-filed most of the time I mail it for the client as a curtesy not obligation it is my obligation to deliver the return to you if it cannot be e-filed. I hate being taken advantage of and I truly needed the service she claimed to provide. This experience has been beyond stressful.

    In response to review ID ********** client engaged our firm on January 15, 2025, after being referred by a respected professional colleague. At the outset, we found that the provided QuickBooks Desktop file was not suitable for continued bookkeeping. After consulting with the client and reviewing alternatives, we first implemented an accounting system using Xero due to its affordability and suitability for property management.However, as work progressed, it became evident that **** did not meet the clients needs and was less intuitive for regular use. To ensure a more effective client experience and facilitate better communication, we transitioned all accounting records from Xero to QuickBooks Online. The QuickBooks Online platform allowed the client to interact more easily with us and participate fully in the accounting ********** part of our engagement, we set up a new ************************* file and compiled four years of business transactions and accounting entries, based on records from two bank accounts and two credit card accounts for the years 2021 through 2024. Since some financial institutions could not provide importable transaction files, our team converted four years of PDF statements into CSV format to enable thorough reconciliations. We then completed all account reconciliations and prepared the corresponding tax returns.The project faced additional challenges, including extended periods when the client was unavailable and the complexities of working across international borders. Nonetheless, we maintained diligence in our service and continued regular follow-ups throughout the engagement. For certain tax years requiring paper filing, we submitted returns to the *** via certified mail, obtaining tracking and return receipt confirmations for accountability. We understand the clients concerns about delays in IRS processing, but such timing is outside our firms control once returns are ************ is also important to note that the complexity and scope of this engagementreconstructing multiple years of financial records and preparing several tax returnswould typically justify significantly higher fees. Regardless, our approach was rooted in transparency, clear communication, and prioritizing the clients best interests at every step.We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our process and reaffirm our commitment to professionalism and client service. Should the client have any further concerns, we welcome the chance to address them directly.
