We hired Next Level Roofing and Construction for some home remodel projects. We met multiple times with the owner, *** (*****) ******* regarding the scope of the work before the work began.
We agreed on a time line for completion (5 weeks) and throughout the course of our business relationship, Next Level was paid over $13000 for work that was not completed to our standards, not finished and not started at all.

We began to question the craftsmanship and time line and were met with excuses. We had asked to be communicated with in a group text (between me, my significant other/the homeowner and the contractor) and were told that the contractor/owner’s phone wasn’t able to participate in our group thread.

Next Level continued to ask for, received and accepted payment as we felt providing payment was in good faith.

When it became obvious that the work was not going to be completed on time and the craftsmanship remained sub-par, we asked for a concrete deadline and informed Next Level we would not be making any further payments until work was completed.

We were not provided with any date for projects’ completion and Next Level blocked our phone calls and text messages.

We are now left with a half-completed bathroom, a quarter of the way finished fireplace and a closet door replacement project that never began.

We would like other homeworkers to be aware of our experience so they can be best informed about who to trust with their remodeling projects and their remodeling projects

I hired ***** *******, owner of next level construction for an insurance claim remodel. He was paid 27000 dollars to remodel my bathroom and kitchen and hang drywall in my basement. He charged me 13.500$ for cabinets that probably cost 6,000. The work he did complete will all need to be redone due to poor craftsmanship! I have hot wires behind the drywall that he left he ran my appliances off of outlets instead of on their own breakers. I asked him several times to fix things that needed fixed and he just brushed it off and refused to do so. I will attach photos of the work he did
