Contractor was hired to remove and rebuild a fence of approx ***** and remove two trees. During the tree removal, they failed to call the electric/ power companies and ending up killing my neighbors power. Once the trees were partially down they stacked the debris in my neighbors yard and never removed it. I had to hire someone else to remove it. Additionally, they took down another neighbors wire fence temporarily to work on building mine. Created a problem bt me and my neighbor and ruined the fence and had to put in a new wire stretch fence for them too. After building the fence I noticed multiple boards were already warping and then after a few weeks some fell off. The reason? Whomever he hired to do the fence used finishing nails. I'm talking those tiny nails for baseboards. Obviously the entire length of the fence boards would eventually do the same if it didn't get fixed. I tried texting, messaging him on FB, calling to no avail. I ended up hiring someone else to properly secure the fence with proper nails. After hiring the second fence contractor, I learned that the gate was built backwards and instead of the hinges having an entire fence to hang on and support it, it's only being supported by the one post. The new contractor also pointed out they did 10ft and even 12 ft sections vs the standard 8ft sections. I'm sure in time it will start to sag. The new contractor asked me if I had by chance seen sections of the 4x4s in the debris which I definitely had seen a lot of. That meant they cut the post down so it's not 2ft in the ground like it should be. Great. He was the cheapest bid, I even gave him extra bc I felt he under bid himself.... but now I can't get ahold of him. Finally, he was supposed to bring back the remaining concrete he left behind (10 bags) to which he did not. He was also supposed to provide me a refund via home depot of the items he brought back. He did not. I am not happy.
