I received a rebate card from P&G through North Lane card company. The first card was delivered to the wrong address and by the time it made it to my address, it was expired. So I emailed north lane and was sent another card. It was only $5. I activated it and upon trying to use it, it was declined. So I called and was told that they charged $3 because I received a replacement card. I advised thats because I received an expired card. Not my fault. The employee transferred me to a manager at my request, who stated they charge $3 service fee. How can they eat away at a $5 gift card. This is scammy behavior in which P&G will be advised about as well. She stated they charge a $3 fee for the card if I didnt use it right away. I wasnt aware of that. Its only $5, but its the principle of it. If my expiration date isnt until July 2024, why are they stealing my funds? The person I spoke with name is ***. She told me if I want to use the card, pay the difference and then use the measly $2 they left on the card. This is taking advantage of P&G customers.
