I had a house fire 4/2020....signed the contract to have house repaired by servpro of kankakee on 12/2021. My statefarm adjustor.. informed both me and servpro of kankakee that the house should be completed within 4 month time frame....they have been paid $36,000 and my house hasn't be completed yet (it's 4/2022). Ive contacted servpro production supervisor and the owner on numerous occasions. The owner refused to reach out...the production supervisor agreed to send out paperwork with I t emailed deductions so we could see...what has /hasnt been completed...unfortunately I kept getting the run around for a full month and still no info to rhis very day. However he did take the time to text me instead of call to tell me that it's my fault my house isn't repaired yet...which I do t see how that can be because they have been given 2 cashier checks in the amounts of $18,000 a piece and the have had access to my home since the contract was signed. Co.Ed and the City of Kankakee county Bldg/permit **** have both been waiting g for them to complete the electrical repairs so power can be restored (and power will be available for them to use to repair the home, I've been paying comEd $100/monthly for the same reason but they have failed to reach out to comEd/City of Kankakee to get this accomplished...i mentioned the word lawyer and now they dont want to move forward with completing repairs or sending me paperwork I asked for that involve pricing and what has/hasn't been completed....or documentation stating that they have dropped me as a client...according to the estimate they haven't done $36,000 worth of work....this needs to be resolved...not ignored...I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking to repair their home...the make the names servpro and kankakee look bad....this is my truth and my personal experience
