I have been a loyal member of AAA for the past 14 years and have seen their services decline sharply. Today I required a tow only to realize you can't speak to an actual person. All communication is conducted through texting and automated voice messages. It took this pathetic company 2 hours to inform me that I was in the queue and more information would follow. That never happened! I was forced to take action and resolve the situation on my own. Thank goodness I'm resourceful and mechanically inclined. I was able to get myself back on the road without the assistance of AAA in about 4 hours. This company is not to be trusted or relied upon! If I could assign a negative number to this review, I would. Needless to say, I'm canceling my membership and will seek a competent company who respects and responds to its clientele with "real people" when they're in most need. Do yourself a favor and put in the hard work and research as I plan to do in search of a firm who provides exceptional customer ********************** during the most dangerous and dire circumstances. Goodbye AAA, bankruptcy awaits you!

We have used AAA for over ******************************************** their service. Day before yesterday I called for a tow at 2:00 pm via their automated link and was told one would arrive shortly. By 8:00 pm, no tow had arrived. I called and waited to speak to an actual person who said they were busy and rescheduled me for 2:30-4:30pm the following day. By 5:00 nobody had shown up and I called back. They said someone was on the way (they weren't). Finally I called our local towing company and got a tow within the hour at 7:00 pm, a full 29 hours after my initial call to AAA. Luckily it wasn't an emergency or we would be in real trouble. AAA has become a terribly unreliable service. I would not recommend it.

AAA has given me the worst roadside assistance ever. I will not be renewing my membership for me or my other 4 family members. Each service call(s) we have made took 5 hours or more, two even took overnight. I don't understand how a member would have to wait so long for assistance. I have a towing request in right now and it's been 4 hours and still not eta or call from AAA or the towing company. I would not recommend there roadside assistance to anyone.

Today, September 26th., I was in sheer disbelief when my daughter's vehicle broke down on the I290 entrance ramp My son in law called AAA for a tow truck. My daughter is pregnant and had my grandson in the backseat, he is not two yet. AAA cancels the tow truck, my son in law perplexed calls to see what happened. They claim she is not on the account even though they are on the same insurance policy. He calls again and again, they are waiting for a tow truck...A cancels a second time...claiming that his wife would not be active in the account until 2 days from now. Meanwhile I as a mother, I am shocked at the inhumane customer **********************. What has happened to humanity? I am giving you the real treatment that AAA gives a pregnant woman with a toddler who is hungry and soiled after hours of waiting and waiting mercilessly for AAA. Why do they call their service roadside assistance? AAA is a fraud. Please let your family members know that they deserve better.

This was a terrible experience so I will only highlight. I have had AAA roadside for decades. I have had no issues. But I was lured into thinking the same service would extend to their home/auto insurance. They ought to just stick to roadside service. While I have had no specific issues from the auto insurance side of the bundle, the home insurance has been awfully close to shady. My first on-line attempt was met with an email reply but never a phone or email follow up to my reply. So I called the phone line a few days later and a bored **************** provided me with a quote of sorts. ***** and wrong with no follow-up or even inquiry as to if there were any changes to the quote desired. Email follow up inquiries by me were ignored. The third time a nice lady helped me at least get a quote I could live with and talked me into an auto bundle to keep costs down. A couple of weeks late she instructed me to forward certificate of installation as proof for a 10% discount and I provided it to her to forward to the proper management.A few weeks later I received a bill for an additional 10% on a premium which I had paid off up front. I called customer support and a nice young lady informed me the additional premium was for failure to provide proof of security. I informed her I had sent before but would gladly forward it to her right that moment. She received to send forward to the proper management. A week later, I received a letter/warning that my insurance would be canceled if they did not receive that premium. I recognized this as my 10% discount for having security.I sent a letter to the address of origin since there was no phone number or names. No replies except last reply I got was to tell me I was canceled. Numerous other issues during this period, such as inspections with no details describing missing tiles no one else can seem to locate etc. from inspections my security cameras didn't seem to pick up. Do NOT buy insurance from these amateurs. Bad idea.

A portion Complaint sent to AAA Corporate on 1/25/2022:On Monday, 01/23/2023, I Waited nearly 3 hours for a gallon of. Gas with a 9 month old in my car car. My first request was around 9:45pm. I ran out of gas in a new car I purchased day before. No engine, no heat, in 20 weather. I called several times for updates (nobody EVER called to check on us), I was originally told 10:30pm the driver would be here. Just prior to speaking on the phone with a supervisor at 11:40pm, I was called by the driver stating he JUST got the call for service at 11:35pm I was still speaking to the supervisor when the tow truck arrived. I received a text message at midnight from my hotel stating my room had been canceled. I told the supervisor great, my hotel just canceled. My room. She said that she was sorry to here this occurred but theres nothing she could or would do about it. I told her that I thought I had trip interruption insurance that was included with this membership and she said I was pretty much on my own. I have text messages from the hotel canceling my reservation. I also have screen shots of a portion of my conversations with your staff because some were done via phone Ive been a 21 year member of **** I am going to cancel my membership and contact an attorney to sue **** Im willing to consider a settlement but it will have to go through my attorney upon my return home on Friday 6/27/2023. This is not the end of this, only the beginning. Your company (and possibly my attorney) will decide the outcome of my complaints. At this point I am willing to settle for $50,000 but that denad for compensation will increase $5,000 daily beginning tomorrow, 06/25/2023. You have not heard the last from ne. A copy if this text message will be mailed to your corporate offices in *******, *******.***************************** AAA Member for over 20 years Sent from my iPhone

Because of AAA negligence, my car was stolen. AAA left my car unlocked with the key inside. Now, I have no car, and no answers. AAA does not want to compensate me for anything.
