Wednesday, June 7th the property Legacy at Fox Valley had construction happening and provided all the residents with an email on parking. The email stated "During this time we ask you do not park in the roped off areas until they are reopened by the staff." "We ask that all cars be removed...vehicle will be towed." Email had attachments with pictures, all understandable. The day of the construction I came home from dropping kids off at school and parked in the un-roped area, also after 8am. looked up the email, made sure the area I was in wasn't roped off, it was after 8am. Other cars were parked, figured because of rain or other issues, no construction was happening. Called the office because my car was towed down the street. She explained they did not have enough materials to rope off the area. I told her the email says do not park in roped off section. She explained there was a picture. I told her yes, the email does not say reference to picture or be towed. The email says ****** do not park in roped off section or you will be towed.I called a few weeks later because now I see the charge of $95, I explained again that I called the day of and there was no roped off section to please look into it for me. I understand if I was in the wrong, I pulled up the email when I parked to make sure I can park there. I have never had an issue, I never missed my rent, I am a good tenant and the one time I call for help with the issue this is what I get. I have the email, I called the same day. How is this fair when the leasing office ran out of supplies to rope off the parking spaces. I will continue to pay my rent on time as usual this balance will remain, the email clearly states otherwise.
