About This Business

Monart Drawing Studio is an art school which uses the Monart drawing method to teach children, teenagers, and adults how to draw. Drawing with Children, is art instruction based on the Alphabets of Shape. Any object that a student might want to draw can be interpreted in 5 Basic Elements of Shape: dot, circle, straight line, curved line, and angle line. Children can achieve realistic drawing and yet be free to be creatively different.
As the students abilities mature, they can move up to Basic Drawing classes. Here the students move through the instructions as in the Getting Ready class, but there are added details, requiring more dexterity and thinking skills. When a student is able to draw independently, a test picture is done to show their ability with proportion and technique. They move up to Intermediate classes. Here they can work with more advanced multi medium techniques.
