    Sealmasters "cold called" my neighbor, who is elderly and has early signs of dementia. Working on her behalf, we had hired Stricktly Sealcoating scheduled to sealcoat her drive on a Tuesday. The Saturday prior, Sealmasters knocked on her door. They quoted her ****** for the job that Stricktly was going to do for 325. She accepted. They used a spray on sealer. They over sprayed onto a garden hose next to the drive (rather than moving it) They sprayed over dirt at the drain grate (rather than cleaning it up prior) They left cigarette butts all over the lawn. The product was very shiny and hopefully when wet it will not be slippery.. The drive is pitched and the client is in her 80's and recently suffered a fall and badly broken leg, but is walking carefully now. We had Stricktly Sealcoating out to look at a fix and they said they cannot go over the drive with their product because what was sprayed on is oil based and Stricktly uses water based. She is stuck with a very expensive mistake. I feel this was taking advantage of an elderly person with onset dementia. We were not in town that day, or would have intervened.
