    On Saturday, March 5th, I ordered $240 worth of mushroom growing substrate for a volunteer event happening Saturday morning on March 12th (including an additional $26.24 for ***** shipping). I only chose to purchase from this company, which charges far higher prices than competitors because it promises that the product ships in 1 day. By the company's own admission over email, it took five days to finally ship the product. This is after I paid extra for faster ***** shipping (and higher prices to this business so it would ship in time). The company has admitted "your order was processed on Monday, shipped on Wednesday, and delivered on Saturday [after the event was over]" which is five days after I placed the order. It also claimed in an email on Monday, March 7th that "most orders are shipped a few hours after receiving this email!... Order Status: Shipped." But it has since admitted over the customer service email on March 17th that it had not actually shipped until Wednesday (two days after).This same email from that Monday says " Once your order is packed & boxed it can no longer be changed or cancelled. Please note, It may take up to 24 hours before your tracking number updates in the system.... Order Status: Shipped." That is extremely dishonest and manipulative because if they had been honest about it actually not shipping till Wednesday, I would have canceled the order. The company has not offered a resolution. It is saying that I now have three days to send it back for a refund (they don't offer to pay for said shipping). Considering they could not even ship the product they promised in a week, the irony here is not lost on our volunteer group that has been manipulated out of hundreds of dollars for grow kits.Contrary to what it claims, there is not mention of processing taking three days before shipping on its FAQ page. With the ***** shipping I paid for, it is extremely clear our order should have arrived on time if not for its fault.

    Although they might have good products (mostly), their "customer service" is absolutely terrible.This is not the first time this has happened with **** wrote to them and asked questions about a few things that were listed on their site, hoping to make a purchase. Several days later they replied and only answered part of one of the things I asked about. I wrote again, replying that same day, asking them to answer all else that was asked. They never replied.Seven days later I wrote to them again, reminding them to answer (which should not have to be done by a customer).Another seven days go by still with no response, at all. It should not take "customer service" almost three weeks to reply to a few simple questions.I will possibly attempt one more time to 'remind them' before going elsewhere for what I need. And I might try and contact the owner of the company directly.Its almost as if they feel that when customers ask questions and then hold them accountable when they don't respond that the customers are the ones who are pestering and bothering them so they make the conscious decision to not reply or answer.This has been happening a lot in the last decade or so with too many companies, both online and in person.The person here who said that they only post positive reviews is correct. Their practices are dishonorable.The owner of the company needs to either retrain the entire staff or fire everyone and hire actual adults. They shouldn't let children run things.If they see this review and I suddenly receive an email of some sort, then I'll know that they are truly dishonest in their approach to business.Go elsewhere to get what you need, because if you have a problem they will not care at all to address anything...unless, maybe, you're spending thousands of dollars. Most of us aren't.As of the time of this writing, they have posted 10 times to ******** since my initial email to them, but can't manage to reply to a customer.
