I was buying a used car from a local business in Addison **. Hi-Tech said they would perform a pre-purchase inspection. I paid them $80, they sent me a receipt for the payment on 5/16/22. I have not yet received the written *** despite contacting them on 5/17/22 & 5/23/22 to see where it was.My complaint is that I have not received the **** and a successful resolution of the complaint would be for them to provide the written copy of the *** that I paid for.Business response

******************** paid for his services over the phone because he was unable to arrive during business hours. We provided the receipt to him via email, but a copy of the inspection was held up because of my hospitalization (****************: owner). This was not a deliberate or malicious incident, nor is it a representation of our usual AAA+ service; it was an unfortunate circumstance that couldn't have been expected. We have provided ******************** with the missing paperwork along with a letter of explanation/apology. I feel that this complaint should not have been made, it is now cleared, and should not negatively affect my business.
